    All these big fights were missed out on but the biggest was of course

    Roy Jones - Lennox Lewis (Laugh all you want but if he wanted to win a legitimate HW championship that would have been the mega fight to end all mega fights)

    Damn you! That was mine:good Would have also liked to see Mercer/Tyson. Yeah, Tyson had far superior skills but Mercer wouldn't have gone away. Don't know how young Tyson would have handled it.

    The ones I most would have liked to see are Burley-Robinson, Burley-Armstrong, Mitchell-Nelson.

    Bowe-Lewis has already been mentioned a thousand times but that's the first fight that came to mind. Tyson-Old Foreman is another interesting one that could have happened in the late 90s...

    Tyson -Holyfield--before Iron Mike went to jail. Tyson was never the same after that.

    Leonard-Pryor was nowhere near the biggest. Pryor was relatively an obscure champ when he turned down the fight, and hadn't even been a champ or big name for long.

    Foreman-Tyson would've gotten all sorts of mainstream attention and shattered financial records.

    How do you see that one going? I think Rooney Tyson/Foreman plays out a lot like Holyfield/Foreman....I think Foreman knocks Don King Tyson out

    I don't know...I read stories about how Tyson supposedly didn't want to face Foreman because Cus told him how Foreman ate up fighters of his style. I'm more inclined to believe their promotional ties and King's insistence on options on Foreman messed it up (Foreman turned down a Tyson fight, saying he was "more scared of Don King and the dotted line than of Tyson).

    Whenever I watch Foreman around this time though, I can't help but think he was too hittable and reflexes too slow for a puncher like Mike.
