I know this thread is about his judging, but remember his 'world class' refereering that left Shannon Briggs in intensive care after the Vitali fight?

There's no doubt we have some of the worst referees and judges in the world. I know it is seen as 'respectful' that we praise them, but the same folks consistently get decisions way off time and time again.

That was my point. It was a fight which every round could pretty much go either way.

All british judges and refs are embarrassing. There's not a single one I like
    Or take seriously

The great irony is that Ion John Lewis contributed the only remotely sensible card in the Takahiro Aoh/Devis Boschiero fight last weekend :yep

There was no extra cash involved to sway towards scoring the fight to Aoh.

Ian John Lewis is a maverick. He's not just gonna sit back and toe the party line.

“I looked at the scoring criteria and thought to myself, why? It’s bad when you lose, especially if you deserve it, so I decided from that day on I wasn’t going to make the loser feel bad about himself. On my scorecard he would always win.”

Just got round to waching the Lynes/Purdy fight. I had it 118-109. IJL 114-114? It defies logic.

It must have took some effort to get a card like that especially with the knockdown, its not even like a lot of the rounds were close.
