    :good:good:good And before people say Floyd made him stop punching, yes that's true, but Judah does this in just about EVERY fight, even the fights he won easily (Ward,Corley). If he doesn't hurt you he loses confidence and he gets tired and lose heart. he could've won the Cotto, Baldomir, and Clottey fights if he wanted to. But Pacquiao won't crunch up like Judah when he gets hit. And before people start raving on Floyd's power, remember, Judah has no chin and Floyd didn't stop him.

    Judah wasn't troubling Floyd early because of work rate..He was fighting very defensively and forcing Floyd to lead. The angle a Southpaw gives when fighting off the back foot is very difficult to punch. Floyd of course figured him out and killed him with body shots later.

    marquez has actually proven in a real fight twice already that his style is a problem for pacquiao. meanwhile, we don't know if floyd would trouble pacquiao or pacquiao would actually trouble floyd until floyd decides to fight.

    If Floyd really believed his style was better suited to beat Pacquiao, Marquez wouldn't be the one going after this fight for three years and doing whatever it takes for a Pacquiao match. It would be Floyd getting his 100 mil payday.

    If thats what he was asking then....Floyd Jr has the tougher style for Pacquiao.Being a true warrior like JMM is,he will and as we have seen in the past two fights,always be willing to get into a war with Manny.JMM will always be likely to pull away from gameplan and go mono e mono with Pacquiao.Floyd Jr has that warrior mentality in him,but goes about it a whole different way.Floyd will never be taken out of his gameplan in the ring.He is the most discipline focused fighter of our time....Maybe ever.

    Bottom line....JMM will give Manny many more chances for success in the ring than Floyd Jr would give him.

    IMO Mayweather Jr has the more difficult style for Manny.

    I chose option (A), but its not because of counter punching. Both JMM and Floyd are counter punchers. It's because Floyd is a safety/escape first fighter when pressed while Marquez is a "must pay back and force respect" type of fighter. Because of this, on a purely style basis, JMM has a better style vs Pac. However everything else added in, Floyd is clearly the more difficult opponent. I even believe a slight favorite though I would be pulling big for Pac.

    Marquez is far more willing to exchange and trade than Floyd. Counter-punching is not a style, it is a technique. Beyond counter-punching, their styles are not even remotely similar.

    That's why I put in the in the 2nd question if you read it correctly that i'd be worse FOR PACQUAIO if both guys have the same troubling styles for him because Floyd is a better fighter than Marquez because he's proven it, so I don't see how my poll is biased, your not making any sense. You can also make the arguement that Marquez was too overweight for the fight with Floyd and was slower at the weight when he moved up but I still think Floyd is better but that doesn't mean he's gonna give Pac as much trouble as Marquez because he doesn't fight the same as him.

    You just said the key word, he throw one punch at a time. I can prove your theory wrong that Pac would do everything Judah did to floyd but way better if you look at the difference between Judah/Clottey(and Zab was at his fastest) and Pac/Clottey. And you know why Pacquaio beat Clottey so easy, where Judah had more trouble, just like he lots of trouble with Floyd? It's because Pacquaio used side to side movement, he used his jab, circleed Clottey consistently and Threw a 100 punches a round to keep him on the defense, where Judah was only looking to set up counters and throw only 1-2 punches, and that's why Clottey was able to get to him as well as Floyd was. Plus Zab isn't a fundamentally sound fighter, he relies too much on athlecticism and only how that would be effective is if he could maintain his speed(like Roy in his prime) for 12 rounds straight but he can't and that's proven many times. So your anaylsis is way off.

    I read what you wrote and agree with it. But what I don't understand is how you think Pacquaio couldn't win that fight with Floyd, when basically your already said that Marquez style is more difficult and Pacquaio(regardless of what fans and media people may think) won his last 2 fights with Marquez. So how is it hard for you to see him picking up a decison against Floyd if it goes the distance when Pacquaio is an agreesive fighter with a vast array of skill of foot and hand speed and power.
