Who's the girl in your avatar? Almost looks like the receptionist from The Office (American version).
i thought this guy is a warrior.he is starting to look like a no brain brawler with a big mouth and a yellow heart."bute is not worthy"...yeah right, quack, quack, quack, quack!
Froch knows the game. He's seen Bute in action. He knows he's never fought someone with his abilities. Same for Ward. Whoever wins the S6 final won't rush into a risky fight. They'll tend to hold on to those belts, at least for awhile. Wouldnt call it ducking tbh, but choosing the safe route. Who doesnt want to be champion for as long as they can? Froch is a loud mouthed overrated (imo) fighter, but noone can acuse him of ducking anybody. He's just aware that his chances of winning against Bute are slim and he's trying to act like he's got other things on his agenda. Funny thing is i always thought there were more chances of seeing Bute-Froch than Bute-Ward. After the S6 final, what other fighting options do the 3 boxers have if they dont face each other?
Ducking Bute? These fighters voluntarily locked themselves into a competition where they would consecutively face the best fighters in the division. Now they're going to dodge a fighter how has fought, erm, no one. Pfffft, yeah. Bute better hope Froch wins the s6, because Ward schools him.
How in the world can you call yourself "undisputed" if you have a loss to one of the top active fighters? Also, can you really be undisputed if a big percentage of the boxing media and fans consider one other opponent a better fighter? "Undisputed" has nothing to do with resumees. You just have to take out the competition. Kessler and Bute are to be betean to consider any 168 undisputed. Ward has only one step to make in this direction, Froch has two steps. ...That if Dirrell doesn't come out strong in this period. You'll have to add one more to that list for Ward.
I cant see this division having a true undisputed champ like it was with Calzaghe. All these guys can win or lose on any given day. The competition in the SMW ranks are without equal. IMO its the variation in styles among the top contenders, not to mention all the good prospects coming through the ranks. Therefor the word -undisputed- wont sum up any champ in this division for a long time.
Froch promised some trash talk towards Bute to lure him into a fight long time ago and here you go.. he won't ignore him. if Froch pulls it off somehow against Ward he'd consider himself as the champ and Bute as a contender so Bute would have to fight Froch on his terms you know not in Quebec with two judges from Quebec and some dubious referee. thats what hes saying..
:deal exactly wow. Bute looked great beating Johnson, a guy who he has sparred extensively and who is good friends with. Who else has Bute beaten? .... This content is protected
What was the offer, tho? ... What was the offer Kessler sent Bute afterwards? ... Let's stop being childish. If Kessler wanted the fight they could have arranged it. You're gonna tell me Bute's offer was so low that it made Kessler offer that much to Stieglitz instead? There's a limit to childish speculation unless your sn is Prezident or Alien.
Oops. The S6 winner (if any) will be no.1 on the paper, as result of a subjective (more or less personal) ranking system. If you wanna say that, it's fine, but if you want to suggest the winner should be considered by default the undisputed best at 168 , that would be no longer a fact but a matter of subjective interpretation. Correction: instead of "the best fighters" one should read "some among the best fighters". Yes, S6 was (is) a money-rewarding highly-publicized high level competition; in order to have "the best" fighters in the division they should have taken some rankings, pick the #1-6 and make them part of the tournament. This has not happened: Bute was ranked not lower than top three by all specialty rankings when S6 was established, and also Pavlik arguably should have been invited to fight in S6. I already explained that the "no one" label is highly unfair, would be even only because Bute has recently disputed (and clearly won) a match against a S6 semifinalist. Anyway, this fighter still has a major belt. OTOH the most straightforward way to settle the alleged lack of value of Bute's opposition is to put him fight with the alleged best in the division, i.e. Ward or Froch. If Froch really thinks Bute is no worthy, a fight with Bute would be for him a golden occasion to make an easy win for a major extra title, and since Bute has already expressed his willingness to fight both of them, Froch should not hesitate to take this opportunity. From a factual approach, Froch's declarations are nonsensical; his trash talk should not be taken ad literam but obviously as a preparing tactics. I am still amazed by the number of people taking seriously Froch's blabla. When the fight will be over, we will be able to say with deeper accuracy who is a better fighter, and I am more sympathetic with Bute's approach (not BS the potential opponent, let the only meaningful facts be what happens in the ring). Might be, or might be not. Let the future fight outcome speak.
Nobody is calling themselves undisputed at super middle. It takes three of the four major belts to do that. The winner of the super six will be unified.
I just want to see a source. Why attack me for that? Lots of numbers gets thrown around. Some more credible than others.
Yeah,Froch has proved time and again that he ducks everyone and likes easy fights. All this about who did better against Johnson is nonsense. That logic means Froch and Bute are better than Roy Jones ever was.I had no particular dislike for Bute but now I hope Froch does fight him. He'll take him into deeper water than he's ever been in before.
Stieglitz brings Showtime and German TV to Denmark, so hes doing much better business over there. because even according various Bute supporters on here Showtime wanted Kessler vs Bute to happen in the US/Canada badly because of the different time zones. so it was up to Butes handlers and only to them to provide some reasonable offer and they failed. Because of Kesslers injury it wouldn't have happened anyway and Bute was able to showcase his skills against Johnson, a prepared Johnson not a late replacement Johnson so there even was some kind of a happy end after the failed negotiations anyway..
