Enough Of This Lucian Bute Non-sense

I know that Stieglitz turned Bute down, but my point was that Bute has not faced the best available. Rather he has faced a string of clubfighters (except for Johnson) that where made for Bute to look like a terror.

 

Sartison and Stieglitz refused to fight him, Pascal is at another weight when 168 is far more exiting and makes more sense financial with going to 175 later still being an option which you cannot say by the opposite.

Ps: Kessler is paying a fortune for the Stieglitz fight, with him getting a shitty purse.

 

Pascal is at LHW and neither him and Bute have been available at the same time. Sartison was injured when Bute was available, he also refused an offer from Interbox. Stieglitz refused 2 offers to fight Bute. Anyway, for me, they are in the same category than Magee. Good fighters but not at the top. Not enough to challenge Bute.

The only one Bute (I should say his promoter) refused to fight was Hopkins, another LHW. At that time, Hopkins had looked bad in his 2 precedent wins, against Ornelas and Junior jr. Bute's promoter thought he was over the hill and to be honest, at that time, 80% of the posters were begging Hopkins to retire. Also, Interbox refused to fight Hopkins because there were some super 6 fighters who were supposed to become available soon. We know now that the multiple injuries ****ed their plan. Before Dirrell and Kessler dropped out of the super six, one of Froch and Dirrell were near to be free to fight Bute. Interbox chose to wait for that fight and... **** happened.

the only valid comparasion we can make is by the way they looked and fought against coman fighters, all the rest is a personel opinion, and only when they will face each other can we argue who is best. i respect the attachement you have for kessler, hey i have the same attachement for bute, but for now i believe bute has clearly overshadowed coman fighters in a mutch better fasion than kessler. i do hope they fight each other soon:bbb
