I think it was before the boxing hour. Most of his first posts were replying to people slagging him off. There were loads of threads saying what an idiot he was and there were hardly any posts supporting him then when he started posting here everyone changed their opinion of him.

Just checked and I think he joined when he was doing the boxing hour.

My point still stands. The vast majority on this forum hated him then changed their mind once he posted here (especially when he mentioned esb).

On BBC 1 Bunce whilst covering the early Fraudley fights, was talking up Fraudley big time, my friend and I knew full well that Fraudley was NOT the great fighter Bunce was talking him up as.

Whenever we hear Bunce's name being mentioned now we just groan.:patsch

Big Aud was on the cover of Ring magazine - the future of the heavyweight division, they said.
He was in the middle of Wlad and Povetkin. He beat all the right people to win the gold. I need proof that on Oct 2nd 2000 all the Aud knockers said he would fail. It's no good coming on the attack train in 2003 and 2004. I started being critical of his attitude, his opponents and his weight but then he got serious and I switched. I can prove that...I have to take your word that on Oct 2nd 2000 at the Dog and Duck in Scunthorpe you turned to your mate Bill and said: "Aud's a joke."

    Adios.

Somebody on here called Bunce physically grotesque. Are you blind? He's gorgeous, he has a belly that most men would kill for, and who knows what treasures lie beneath.

"Ange, thats what those who are close to Angelo Dundee call him"

Was one of the most cringeworthy moments bar the decision on Saturday night.

    *squirm*

    MTB,
That was a joke, you fool! It's true but it was humour. Did you think I was serious? Wow, I thought that those days were over.

    Adios.

Personally the alarm bells rung for me on his debut. Pre fight they made a huge deal of Harrison having a rematch clause if he lost to Middleton...

Now business sense says in that contract for that fight, that makes total sense. But there is no need to broadcast the fact you are taking precautions just in case the Olympic Champion loses to a 10/10 doorman. And it is rubbish if it is suggested it was used to the build up the fight. Audley Harrison was the fight on his pro debut, it was his showcase, all he needed in that fight was someone to fall down a couple of minutes in and for the opponent not to get hurt.

After that it seemed to get worse. I know he had some injuries, but when he was fighting fit, he was only fighting every four/five months.

I remember Lewis got a ton of grief when he was learning his trade on ITV. He was accused of fighting bums and looking like an amatuer. But the difference between him and Harrison was, Lennox fought 13 times in 13 months and then in the next year became British and European Champion and to win the British crown he beat an unbeaten world top 10 ranked Heavy.

What was Audley doing two years into his career? What had Audley achieved 16 fights into his career?

Harrison looked more polished than Lennox on debut, so where did it go wrong?

I only remember Fraudley being on the Ring cover with Mesi & Guinn.

Claude Abrams, one of the few people in British boxing who has a clue, corrected predicted at the start of Fraudley's career he'd go as far as the European title :deal.

Bunce & Woodhall on the other hand went on to make the viewers cringe with every bbc appearance for a couple of years. Verdict = clowns and plonkers :deal. They'll never learn either.
