theres not really a reason to doubt these numbers imo. Pavlik couldn't believe it too only to look like a fool a day or two later after he turned the proposal down he got from Interbox. Arum said the offer Pavlik got was far better than Kesslers, Sauerland, Kessler himself complaining Interbox never really said anything about it so.. who knows what injuries Kessler comes up with after a fight with Stieglitz in case it finally gets made and hes able to go through his camp without bigger problems. the Stieglitz fight got pushed back five months so thats technically a loss of an additional payday already, Kesslers resume speaks for itself, Sauerland is powerful enough to enforce neutral officials even when their guys fight on the road etc. I don't really see any reason why Kessler should have turned down a fight with Bute given it was more lucrative than that Stieglitz fight but each to their own.

funny since Mark Nelson (Bute-Johnson ref) is actually the master of all bs stoppages.. he also did it on british soil various times, Cleverly vs Kuziemski and Murat for example recently so they can just agree to him

 

dont start with that again bat, we know it was not 3 mil but regardless of the amount...no counter offers came back period.

 

No I couldn't but that's more down to the substandard level of the opponent. I can't in any scenario see Froch or Ward fighting in Canada, regardless of money making potential simply due to not wanting to afford Bute any advantages. To take Bute out of his comfort zone is part of the battle imo.

Proof please?
Did he fight anyone of a far lower calibre subsequently.If he knocked back a fight with Bute,it would have been a logistical decision.I've read articles or posts saying Bute has knocked fights back,but I don't give them the credence required to suggest Bute is scared of anyone.I have no dislike for Bute,but he is becoming rather overrated when you consider how unproven he is.

 

It's not me who's making stuff up so please point your finger towards the guys who made the claim about a 3 million dollar offer.

Proof of Froch ducking Bute:
Froch: "The winner of this fight will be the WBC and WBA champion and they'll be talking about a fight with Lucian Bute but he's out of the equation really, he's not up there with the best in the world like me and Ward."

 

I like to see Froch in a ring. Always entertaining fights. But when he open his mouth.... I rather hear his girlfriend screaming, well maybe not, but that's a close call.

 

Maybe he believes that.Anyone who has any knowledge of Froch knows that to suggest he is ducking Bute because he is scared is utter tosh.Sorry,but your post proves nothing.

 

Who cares anyway, Froch doesn't duck anyone, Bute and Ward are scared to leave their gardens.

Ward will beat Froch then Bute and hopefully Dirrell comes back and proves that he is a top 3 SMW.

 

cabbleadict is the guy that made a thread about Bute having loaded glove, since then I always try to talk about this thread and him when I see him because I want to make people understand that when you write something, even with a phony name, you have to take your responsibility, you cant write anything you want and thinking you can get away with it.

So in looking stupid each time I see him write a post, I guess he will learn and will try to evolve in something better. But what he showed in this thread is not very encouraging.

 

OK. So he wants to get out of the "unproven" zone by fighting Froch, Ward or Kessler. Why is it that the fact that he asks for a match with those guys getting on your nerves? Do you really not want to see Froch vs. Bute? Are you serious?
Please name the fighters Bute should fight that are worse than the super top SMWs: Kessler, Ward and Froch so that he gets to be just a bit unproven and finaly get a chance to meet one of the top 3 to finaly get a tiny unproven (or a very good prospect). Of course one condition is that Bute should not be bashed if he faces the ones you name.

 

Froch knows Bute will probably demand a 80-20 split and insist on Montreal or somewhere in Canada.Like I said,there will be a valid reason IF he said it.

 

You're picking me up wrong mate,I would love nothing more than Froch-Bute.I just don't believe for a second Froch is scared of Bute.
