We've been used to see him dominating opponents, beginning from the Diaz fight. He hardly lost a round since then until Marquez 3. Any of you guys know if there is a site somewhere that lists the individual judges' scores per round? I would like to see how many rounds did majority and unanimous scoring of Pacquio's losses on a per round basis.
In all seriousness, I know I didn't watch a comfortable victory for either man. These 8-4 scorecards and stuff is worse than any scoring from Saturday Night. Marquez and Pacman even know that. This is board is on crack, has been for a while.
I'm a huge Marquez fan and I scored it a draw. Not that it matters, I can't change the offical scoring. I just know I saw two men fight a hell of an even match and neither really deserved to lose. I knew Marquez was not going to get the decision after he dropped the last two rounds. I have no problem with it being a close victory for Marquez or Pacman, but a comfortable victory for either man...fool, you are not being honest with yourself. If you people want a robbery watch Martinez/Williams I...you have no clue.
I mostly agree with this, although I'd say it's more his age, duration of career and the number of wars he's been involved in, as opposed to just Margarito per se. The bottom line is that this is two consecutive lethargic performances, and I completely agree about his feet. The legs are the first thing to go, and he has lost the ability to pivot and fire as he did in the past. He's starting to look like the aging (but not shot) version of Roy Jones. Still great handspeed, but can't create the angles anymore. I don't think he can turn down a Mayweather fight without losing face. He has to accept it, asskicking though it certainly will be, in order to satisfy his fans and fans of the sport generally.
So now that we all know you have no idea how to score a boxing match, is there any reason for anyone to ever respond to you, ever again? Why do people come onto this forum and make such complete fools of themselves? I don't get it.
at the disrespect for Bummy. Dude has probably forgot more boxing than most of you punks have seen. Shame your thread got moved to the general, Bummy. It deserves better.
Im re scoring it now in HD and so far got Marquez winning the first 4 rounds with pac winning the 5th, 1st round was pretty even so you could probably give it to pac but its still 3-2 in the first 5 rounds to Marquez
Well, round 5 was Marquez best round of the fight, Pac has a shout for round 3 or 4 but definitely not round 5.... watch it again.
