    Marquez-Pacman
    Hopkins-Pavlik/Tarver?
    Moore-Pastrano/Durelle/Valdes
    Walcott-Marciano/Charles 4
    Vitali-Areolla/Adamek
    Toney-Peter 1

I know this is a bit Mendoza in it's nature

    I'm going vitali vs adamek.

    pure masterful.

he's operating at that high a level people don't even say things like "great effort for an old man, imagine what he'd do in his prime"

However I've just seen the option for hopkins v pavlick. that performance was so beautiful it led to temporary claims hopkins was still in his prime.

Personally I'd go with Walcott's effort against Marciano, Moore was 37 when he beat Johnson though

    Was Kalambay that old?

Good performances but bare in mind they are probably the 2 worst opponents alongside Peter

Moore-Durrelle was 1 of my first old time films I saw, I was over awed. Marquez-Pacquaio 1 at the time reminded me of it, I couldn't believe a poster who called themselves Archie Moore at the time would have Pacquaio winning

He was either 36 or 37 against Collins.I'd need to check dates to be sure which, but he just misses your cutoff anyway.

I think Jimmy Carroll was that old when he took Jack McAuliffe 47 rounds, winning the last few before he was stopped. I think that's worth a mention.

Corrie Sanders wasn't quite 38 yet, but he was getting close when he sparked Wlad in two rounds.

I seem to remember Bash Ali beating Ralf Rocchigiani aged 40 in a close fight that was given to the hometown fighter. It was impressive, mainly because Bash Ali was a lot better aged 40 than he was in his 20s!
