Then how do you explain JMM's face all bruised and swollen after the fight whereas Pac didn't have any bumps or bruises, aside from the cut due to headbutt?

 

Like Mosley said, Pac hits so hard that he barely touches you and u get bruised...Pac had a cut on his eye as well...but Im not here to agrue about who did More damage...We both seen the same fight...the compubox was a bald faced Lie...Pac was scared to throw punches most of the time, and every time he threw them, Marquez was moving and out of the way...Marques landed WAAY more punches in my opinion

 

Hopkins knocked Calzaghe down in their fight. Marquez didn't hurt or wobble Pacquaio.

 

Need to watch it again, I've watched it 3 times now. One which was HBO which was pro Pacquaio. One which was the Primetime UK which was VERY pro Marquez.

Pacquaio blocked most of Marquez's shots and outlanded him by far. Marquez had most solid punches of the fight but he just DID NOT DO ENOUGH, the same as the previous fights.

 

No one is blindly flollowing compubox the OP didn't mention compubox. You can watch the fight and decide for yourself who landed more punches each round. The only ones who keep bringing up compubox are those who think JMM won. It was a preemptive strike a bunch of douchebags who wanted to discount aggression in the scoring. I trust my own eyes that saw Pac landing more punches.

 

Dont be silly...if u watched it that many times, then u have to be a baldfaced liar to say Pac threw more punches, or blocked ANY punches...Pac got hit with a right hand so hard, that he stopped to complain to the ref about a headbut that had happened prior...Only time u complain is when u wanna slow things down...we all saw the same fight so dont try to convince me that Pac did enough to win...it wasnt even a draw...Marques humiliated the guy ALMOST as much as Floyd humiliated Marques...it was simply a mismatch!

 

A weak argument if I ever saw one, Quantity can beat Quality but Pac was ONLY SLIGHTLY busier, landing a few more glancing shots here and there should never be enough to make up for one getting his head snapped back all night.

At least in Paul Williams' controversial decisions in SM 1 and the Lara fight, he wasn't just slightly busier, he was much busier to the point where he was outworking his opponents, Pac was only slightly busier, no way he should've got the W.

 

Compubox has been proved as bull**** to score a fight with. There's just too many other variables to take into account

 

You're bias is showing... He complained to the ref so that they wouldn't count the cut as being from a punch, not that it hurt lol. After his complaint, the commentators replayed the exchange and sure enough it was from a butt.

 

Then you should open your eyes instead of focusing on just one fighter. :roll:

Exactly, that's why I didn't care to respond back to this guy. His first statement was that Pac did not land "ANYTHINNG" (caps anything for emphasis, I guess) and was only hitting air.

When I pointed out the bumps and bruises on JMM, he dismisses that by saying he's not here to argue damage.

Essentially, he's saying that Pac hits so hard that even by missing all night he does more damage.

 

How did he know he was cut from the headbutt without going to his corner yet?..LOL..Look man thats not my point..My point is that Pac was uncomfortable in that ring...the guy got thadass tore up...He got hit with that right hand, and complained about the headbutt...fool why are u bothered about a head butt?..Just keep fighting..Thats my point

 

Pac looked sloppy missing shots, and Marques looked smooth using defense and pounding on Pac's face..Mismatch
