    im mexican american , ive noticed most if not all my friends born in the us hate chavez jr , we think he is a silver spoon fed fake , while my friends from mexico love this dude and cant understand why we dont back him ,
    any one else notice this kind of rift

    Every single mexican and mexican american person i know has the same opinion of him: He aint ****, only beats a bunch of bums, is spoonfed, and will get his ass kicked by Canelo if they fight someday.

    PS i dont base my favorite fighters on race , i lean towards american born fighters regardless of ethnicity

    to be honest the hate to the guy is going a bit too far. They say that he is lazy and stuff but I've seen some of his sparing sessions and he is not jocking around. Alvarez is even more annoying for me because he is insanely overrated by some

    People want Chavez Jr to fail so badly but he really isn't that bad of a fighter. His win over zbik is better than anything Canelo has done. Canelo is hugely overrated

    both got gift belts from sulaiman and both are overrated and will lose as soon as they fight anybody decent in their weight classes

    I am mexican, I believe Chavez is garbage Canelo too but I believe there is room for improvement on him

    Is Canelo pretty much universally/unconditionally loved by the Mexicans?

    Even after ArchieGate?

    Isn't Archie well liked?


    ...or is it that Canelo is still the lesser of two evils when compared to Chavez?
