It's not a 50.50 fight, and that's entirely clear from actually observing the principles box. Williams is a heavy favourite. I imagine it will stress past the 5-1 the voting currently stands at...

Is Brian allowed to hit him with that lantern jaw?

    Otherwise, it's Williams big time.

You might be right and I might be wrong. Truth is neither were world beaters.

Both were as bad as each other against Ali, another truth.

    would? we can only guess.

I am not voting for London and i am not voting for williams.

Tami mauriello staggered Joe Louis and got knocked out early.
Cleveland Williams staggered sonny Liston and gets knocked out early. why so much love for Williams? Did he do any better than mauriello?

He looks better on film than Mauriello. You are constantly regurgitating boxrec, how about some technical analysis? What people see is the reason people are picking overwhelmingly against your position isn't anything to do with Boxrec.

London once asked Liston for a job as a sparring partner Liston totally ignored him.
I have no love for Williams, just an opinion that he was a step above London.

Of course we should be talking about the Pre' Williams Abdominals.Vs Magnum encounter - fights subsequent to this were not Cleve at his best, what you can read into Cleve's efforts against Machen and Terrell in respect of this match-up is debatable as their respective styles are poles apart - but if you were drawing up an opponent who would suit the "Big Cat" its probably Brian London. Comes forward, noit know foe defence or speed and with a jaw like a barn door.

If Cleve attacks Brian like he did Liston in the first couple of rounds of the first fight....well it would probably be a case of Londons Bridge is falling Down.
    Pronto ! .
