Well after watching him against Cotto and Mosley, he's not that good at it, but he's not horrible either

Manny was a beaten and dejected man that night, he didn't cut off ****. Cutting off the ring was the least of the flaws that JMM 3 fight showed though, he regressed back to right right left Manny, with horrible sloppy mechanics, and lazy foot all rolled into one, he better get **** together train properly, rather than look at movies of himself, and look hit or miss sparring against C-class fighters

    Pac's biggest flaw, imo.

I was screaming at the TV last Saturday for him to take two steps to his right whenever Marquez would pivot.

Something that he'll have to correct against movers who can effectively counter.

Winky is an example of a s.paw who could cut of the ring.

More recently, Kirkland does a decent job at it.

No he didn't. Do you know what cutting off the ring is? You must think Manny has great foot work as well? :patsch As great as Manny is he can't cut off the ring and he has average foot work. Great foot speed but average foot work.

ya he did you ****ing fool. It's right there in the fight. I never said he had great footwork or he's great a cutting the ring off, he isn't. But he's done it in the past, but never consistently.

He has done it, because every so often even someone with good footwork can allow themselves to be manoeuvred or pressed toward the ropes/corner

But generally speaking, against fighters with good footwork, ring IQ and lateral movement, he will struggle to cut the ring off

Obviously there are instances where he HAS, but overall I would say it's a real weakpoint, and therefore the answer to the thread is a no

:rofl:rofl Cutting of the ring is different than following and trapping your opponent in the ropes you moron.

It's possible to cut off the ring with opposing stances, but because of how one side is so open it's more difficult to cut that side off. Also Chavez is great at cutting off the ring, but that didn't keep Whitaker from getting away from him.

Pac can't cut off the ring.

What Pac did against JMM was follow him around he wasn't cutting the ring off. Following a technician like JMM around and not cutting off the ring is one of the worst things you can do as he found out.

No **** moron, i saw the fight 2x already and I never saw Pac cut off the ring. Cutting off is when your opponent moves backwards laterally and instead of following him you move laterally as well. I defined it for you. :patsch:patsch
