    :good You are so right about this. I don't know what is this fuss about. Some guys over here are so easy. Is nothing wrong with what he said, until he acts the ways he said he will. I get the feeling Froch reads threads like this and he is having a lough with you :))

    For the umpteenth time,yes I definitely feel Bute is worthy of a big fight,preferably against Froch.I have never said otherwise,I have never said Bute is NOT a good fighter,in fact I don't even dislike the guy.I just feel the way some fans talk about him here would imply that he is an undisputed P4P'er when I feel he still has much to prove.I feel accusing Froch of ducking him is an extremely partisan view.Froch still has the S6(1st time I've mentioned S6 by the way,despite several accusations to the contrary) to deal with so any prior refusal to fight would have been a logistical decision.If he wins the S6 and doesn't fight Bute within two fights at most,then accusations of ducking may be justified but now,anyone who really knows Froch,knows that while he may have a few flaws and be far too willing to get into a shootout,to suggest he is scared or afraid to lose or whatever the **** else Bute fans are saying is just a million miles from the truth.If anything,Froch's bravery will be his downfall.Unlike many of the Bute fans,I am willing to acknowledge that Froch does have flaws in his game and Bute is a talented fighter.However I am not convinced that Bute is proven and I believe Froch has swum in far more treacherous waters than Bute thus far.I feel there may be a touch of Provincial pride going on here so I will ask again in a civil manner;
    How do Canadians here rate Pascal and following on from that,Froch's victory over him?

    Froch, a fighter who joined the supersix and made it to the finals is "possibly" ducking the overprotected overhyped Bute?, are you for real?

    i have to say that after the secon fight against b-hop, i was disapointed. i always watch his fights and hopes he wins. against froch i tought he did ok, but i was expecting him to get better after that loss by working on his cardio...he did not, he still fights in spurts of punches and gasses out to quickly. i actualy had the impression he was going to get kod against dawson if it was not for the cut. if he does work on the cardio aspect, he may be able to get title back because the has speed, power and a very weird style to face as an opponent.

    You got me,maybe you didn't attack Froch,my deepest and most sincere apologies,how can I make it up to you?:grouphug:respect:asskiss
    Did it ever occur to you that quite a lot of trash talkin goes on in Boxing and perhaps Froch has one eye on Bute after the S6?
    And he was talking nonsense.No way round it I'm afraid.

    the fact that he lunges foreward a lot bute would be ready for him, he is quick but wide open as well and lowers his head when he goes for the over right hook witch is dangerous against someone who has a good uppecut.

    bute wins that fight, but i dont see it happen for a wile as they are both based in montreal with different promoter who do not have yet the money power to lose to one or the other.

    That's fair to me. It's just the way Froch put it, it sound like "Bute is out of the picture I'm not fighting him at all". I agree there are Bute nuthuggers, but I don't think he's more overrated than any other fighter, may it be Ward or Froch, nuthuggers are all over ESB man.

    The Québécois fans had always been devided about Pascal. He had a big mouth and was always comparing himself with Bute but didn't always deliver good fights. When he fought Froch though, people started to recognize his heart and it just got better with his performances with Diaconu and especially Dawson, where he got out of Bute's shadow and was self-proclaimed Boss in town ;). Froch is also highly rated over here obviously because of Pascal's recent performances and also because he's Bute's target.

    So 'possible duck' for you = "it smells like it :D "

    Semantics. Good job. :patsch

    I can play dumb too, let's look at this S6 thingy.

    Taylor - shot to oblivion. Naturally gasses after 8-9, entering the S6.

    AA - the brainless turtle couldn't adapt to 168 because the size advantage he had over the top 10-15's he fought at MW was non existent at SMW, exposed for struggling with quick boxers and being very, very unidimensional.

    Froch - got floored by shot Taylor, outfoxed vs Dirrell who made him look slooow, lost to Kessler being open most of the fight.

    Dirrell - no heart. Just no heart. Will never be elite. Could be sooo much more.

    Kessler - got trashed to a TD vs up & comer Ward, planned to duck Bute by fighting Bouadla (!!!) for the vacant WBO Euro belt aiming at WBO "champ" Stieglitz who got TKO'ed by both Berrio and Andrade.

    Ward - best headbutt talent, Hopkins University graduate, dirty fighting religious fukk in the division.

    ...and the replacements;

    Green - average power, got hurt big time vs Miranda. Fell for Ward's wrestling game and lost a wide UD. Got KTFO by "Old Johnson".

    Bika - blueprints designed by Calslappy & Bute. Ward got hit by rights on the inside, decided to lean on Bika's left eye using his forehead and, ultimately, all his momentum. Switched to southpaw, big surprise there, and landed big lefts on the side/back of Bika's head. Classy stuff.

    Old Johnson - KO'ed Green where as Green had his moments vs Ward, landed big rights & left hooks on Froch in rounds 7-8, got dominated by Bute who he respected so much he very seldom followed the missing jabs with overhand rights fearing the counter body left hooks & uppercuts. In fact when he did connect with overhand rights, not more than 4-5 I'd say -feel free to point them out, Bute took them as well as Froch did.

    ...not so hard now was it? Haters gon hate. Bute is overprotected to the point where he's already said he wouldn't mind Vegas or AC, and that MSG has always been his dream location. Hoping to fight the S6 winner there. :yep
