    So he wanted to be the promoter of the fight. people are not watching for trout he's a no-name so that sounds about right. I would assume trout would get set amount and thats it , but he wanted more than the original verbal agreement (he found out how much Mundine makes per fight). so it fell through.

    No, I have it on very good authority that Trout's people were willing to let Mundine have his way on the ring size, gloves and Aussie PPV as long as the fight was held in the US - and Trout got the gate receipts.

    Mundine didn't want to know about it so he started rumours about Trout wanting a 3 match option on him and ramped up his claims that he would never get a fair fight in the US because of his 9/11 comments in the press to hide these facts.

    OK but mundine would make more if the fight was in Australia. If its in the states he will lose aussie PPV numbers because of a morning fight and the gate receipts. so he was not happy with the deal and went for the mandatory angle instead, im sure this happens in boxing all the time....

    Team Mundine did come back with a counter offer - that the fight could take place in the US on the following conditions:

    1. Mundine would get all gate receipts;
    2. The US national anthem would not be sung before the bout;
    3. 'Treaty' by Yothu Yindi would be sung by 50 Cent instead of the Australian national anthem before the fight.

    Of course, when Trout's people refused to accept these conditions, Mundine then started talking up how he wasn't allowed to fight in the US because of his 9/11 comments - comments he had pretended never happened for pretty much 10 years until he could use them as an excuse for ducking a Trout fight in the US.

    Roy Jones Jnr and Antonio Tarver were both extremely well paid to come here. Nobody is expecting Krzysztof Wlodarczyk to make the same kind of money as those big names but I think you'll find he'll be adequately rewarded.
