Brook would be just the fight Khan wants for financial reasons before a mayweather fight. Much like the Haye/Harrison fight...it was put on to raise Haye's profile in preperation for Vitali.

Khan hasnt got the publicity over here since he left sky, hence his quick return and backing down on the ppv issue. A fight with Brook would do just that, it would get the british fans talking and hyped, and sky would be bound to have a massive promotion push for the fight.

Like bunce basically said, It will boil down to Brook, he wont take it unless he gets the cut he thinks he deserves, which isnt likely. So if he thinks he can win he'll take it.

Id say sky are desperate for that to be khan first fight at welter...whether Brook is a big enough name for team khan and golden boy remains to be seen.

Kell Brook is that you? You say "Khan's career best win is Maidana, and his career best performance is Judah, he has a good win against Kotelnik and thats the sum total of Khans resume" Well thats not to ****ing bad for a resume of someone who hasn't reached their prime yet. "No doubt in my mind that Brook would blast Maidana into tomorrow" is that based on the fact that Brook got a premature stoppage over a Euro level fighter with 10 losses?

Come back to me when you have a solid argument and you know something about boxing.

I hope this fight gets made, just to see the look on Eddie and his mad old man's face after the fight. All Kell has is a small punchers chance but I see Khan stopping him inside 8 rounds.

Get with the program you two tarts, Khan will put a old skool UK homecoming beating on Kell, these guys want to cash in on him already.

Where did i say his resume was bad , **** for brains ??!! , read my posts you ****in half witted **** !!

Khan is asking for Mayweather , based on the majority of this forum's mind set , Mayweather should call him a bum and tell him to fight somebody he knows right ??? , ................. erm no !!!

Go back to my original post , i said from the start , that this wasnt a resume bashing excercise , nor was it Khan and Brook bashing , its merely pointing out that if Sky want this fight they beleive they can clearly sell it , and i beleive they can too , not to mention all of the Northern boxing arena's being a full house in terms of gates , Khan McCloskey was a full house and McCloskey is well ................ McCloskey

Brook has done a great job on whats been put in front of him , he's still young himself , and matchroom are clearly working hard on his exposure and his PR , to say that Brook needs a name to fight Khan is just simply not true , Brook is fringe level world title contender status , Khan is an in experienced (as seasoned champions go) world champion looking to keep hold of that status , the fight makes sense MORON !!!!!

What would you rather see , Khan box the ears of another hyped up American WW , worse still , a unification against Morales , oh no im sorry Morales qualifies for Khan thats right he's a 4 weight world champion :huh Dumb ****er !!!!!!!!!!

Can I just check when Brook became a star? It’s not like Haye-Harrison where Audley had some notoriety. No one gives a **** about Brook.

You really are one thick ****.

Hyped up American welterweight? Oh yes, because there is no hype surrounding Kell Brook, oh no of course not :patsch

You earn your right to fight the best, get that through your thick head mother****er. Kell is a BUM, period.

He has fought nobody, he is not a name in boxing, nobody outside of Sheffield has ever heard of him. He has only got a bit of publicity after Khan's name was mentioned

Oh he hasn't has he. Compared to Kell, who wanted to "do pacquaio" after catching the bus to to the Ingle Gym.

There is ambition and then there is delusion. Kell in comparison makes Audley Harrisons claims look reasonable

Brook's more qualified for his shot, than Khan was when he faced Kotelnik.
