Can Floyd Fans Join Debate on the Margarito vs Cotto fight?

    Now, how about Marquez fans do they have credibility in their opinions on the coming fight even if he hasn't met Margarito or Cotto in the ring? :smoke

    It would be case by case, some *****s actually like boxing and can appreciate other styles. Generally though I think it's safe to say Margarito and Cotto are bums to most of them, the extreme ones anyway. They love discrediting them as top fighters because Floyd gets a hard time from some fans for not having fought them.

    This a fight my brother-in-law Danny might watch.We watched the first together and he was pissed about the loss.

    I personally am no Cotto fan,and Marg's uggh.

    Cotto's arms are too short and that is why his career "was" not better.

    I believe a "boxer" should have slightly disproportionately long arms.Cotto has always looked to have slightly short arms to me.It's almost repulsive to me.It's a real disadvantage to him.

    If you watch Floyd's jabs, it was like a leg kicking Marquez' face because of the length of his arms. The physical disparity was no match for the Mexican :smoke

    This was actually what killed Marquez, which he even admitted, "floyd had longs arms" which JMM could not "out-measure," i.e term used by trainers :smoke

    That's why Floyd won the counterpunching. 'Hope you and your bra get to see the fight. 'Wont be in ny so i won't be watching :smoke

    Yeah, it was only his long arms that won him the fight. If he didnt have them marquez would have destroyed him via brutal KO.

    Can't help but notice your RJJ pic. That guy was jacked to the gills for that fight. Not surprising he was busted for roid abuse. :verysad

    I don't know when Cotto started fighting,but I believe that "p.e." in school or gym training from a young age,will condition any person to grow that extra inch in arm reach.Cotto has always been f**ed by his reach.From that observation alone I stayed away from emotional investment in Cotto personally.My brother in law(ex brother in law?) is Puerto Roc so he hated that I "hated" on Cotto.I just tried to prevent his emotional investment.Cotto is simply no Trinidad.

    Sure. If they fight Margarito wins again . It wasn't only the wraps . It was the pace of the fight that Cotto doesn't like. Cotto is half ass. He has 2 arms but he can only use his left. A fight goes for 12 rounds he only goes for 5 or 6 now days. He might quit again if the ref doesn't save him. Half ass.
