    its gona be interesting to say the least!

    I hope though if it does happen, its doesnt become clear that both guys are shadows of themselves and serve up something lacklustre

    Apparently the next hearing would be a week from now, so if it's denied, they would have a week left to find a venue and fill it.

    That's ****ing amateurish from Top Rank and disgusting from the Commission.

    Couldn't agree more, speaking to some1 on twitter whos got tickets, he's far from impressed. i'd be screwing. if there is a change of venue hope no **** turns up

    I'd be so disappointed if this fight was to be called off. For all that I dislike Margarito, I can't help but respect his heart and determination and I don't think anyone can have a negative word to say about Cotto, he is exactly what a boxer should be.

    Their first fight is what without doubt turned me into a hardcore boxing fan and after watching that faceoff, I'm sure a 2nd would be as exciting. I'm backing Cotto all the way but I just have a feeling that Margarito has a style which matches up well with Miguel's. Cotto couldn't have fought much better in the first half of the fight IMO yet he was still pegged back.

    I'm praying Margarito's allowed to fight and that Miguel gets his revancha.

    i wonder if, naw that's pushing it..
    imagine if arum knew about this and wanted to sell out msg with it's intended headline..now if it fails, arum will find a replacement for cotto and still have a packed house.
    Why would you go ahead and book the venue and set up all this promotion to begin with? Maybe to entice the board that huge money will be at steak etc.

    The problem with that is the HBO PPV! I can't see HBO being happy with Vanes or Pawel as the opponent.
