Would smokin joe have beaten wlad and vitali

Neither Klit could ko Joe in the first 3 rounds.Joe could ko either Klit with 1 left hook at any moment from the opening bell.

The Klits have shockingly low punch resistance.Joe has excellent punch resistance,and would get up 6 times if he had to,just to land that 1 left hook that a Klit can't take.

 

Since "Smokin'" Joe's the subject of this thread, it brings to mind appalling behavior at the MGM Grand Arena before the Pac-JMM bout by drunk Mexican fans in the balcony cursing Pacquiao at the top of their lungs in Spanish during a silent standing tribute to Frazier, while the bell tolled ten.

 

Peter was a fairly large heavyweight with a big punch and durable chin.. He only gave Wlad problems in their first fight but still lost.... he got dominated by both klits in future bouts...

Granted. But with the vast difference in height and outside fighting games, Frazier would have to really extend himself to land and might be subject to counter attack on the way in... A lot of those hooks would lose some of their power on the way up as well.

Historically, the bigger the opponent, the more difficulty Frazier had stopping them.. Buster Mathis and Joe Bugner were arguably his two largest opponents. One of them took him the distance, while the other extended him 11 rounds..Neither man were as big as either of the kilts and nor were they in their class.

That's a bold bet to make against a man who has the all time record for fewest number of rounds lost of any heavyweight champion and has an 8 inch height and 50 pound weight advantage..

That's what I remember, and furthermore he did it with only one arm functioning from about the 3rd round onward.. Take away the rototor cuff injury, and with two functioning arms minus the distraction of the pain, and Vitali would have knocked him out.

 

Too many fighters lesser than Joe Frazier,have lasted to long and done far too much against these guys.

They'd need an instant ko or they'd have to feel Joe's left hook......and we know they can't take that.

 

This might be the most delusion post of the thread. You think a small guy like Frazier can beat monsters like the K'brothers on heart alone? He needs to have the pshycial advantages as well as superior boxing skill. He has neither.

 

Wlad yes, give him little chance against Vitali.

That's cool...but they can't take that left hook without reeling across the ring or sliding along the ropes.They truly don't take big punches well...and that left hook was always big,and it came early and often.He's "Smokin' Joe" because of his work ethic.

Every moment that Joe is not ko'd,is a moment where the Klits could be ko'd instantly.Smokin Joe.Not just Joe.He truly showed up to hurt his opponent.Which recent Klit opponent could you say that about?

Vitali could take plenty of Joes left Hooks who are you guys trying to kid?
A 5'11 guy with a 73" reach loses a lot of power when punching upwards to hit a 6'7 guy with an iron jaw.
It's not like Vitali is easy to hit either, he's very awkward.

 

He KO's both fighters.

 

Joe was a great boxer in his own right.

But the thing with either Klitschko brother is that they are a combination of size, athletic gifts and boxing skill. Sure Joe fought Ali who had better skill, but was Ali as big? Did he punch as hard? Since Joe never fought anyone with the combinations of assets a K'brother brings to the table you cant take for granted he would "smoke" them.

Sam Peter and Haye where big punchers who came after Wlad to KO him. Is Joe not greater? Sure he is. But I think Samuel Peter in his prime hit at least as hard and that Haye is a more gifted athlet. Over all I still think Joe is better then either of them, but you asked for opponents coming after them so I had to give you a couple of names.
