What Froch has acheived is brilliant but I have no doubts that Calzaghe would have fairly comfortably beaten Froch. And I say that as a big Froch fan!!!
Head 2 Head he'll never be as good as Joe. I already think his resume is better. Beating Ward puts it beyond dispute and makes him the best SMW of all time RESUME wise.
His record will surpass Joe if he beats Ward for me. If he then beats Bute too there isn't any doubt about it. Head to head, Joe wins wide on points.
Take Charlie. Grow a worse beard. Be even more disgruntle everytime someone says Lennox was Britain's greatest ever boxer. Go back in time and have a different promoter.
Beating Ward and beating Kessler would make it debatable whose resume was better. But he can never overtake Calzaghe in terms of who was the better of the two.
Calzaghe beat Lacy for his best win at that point of his career and followed it up by fighting ranker contender but nothing special Sakio Bika, and then follows that up by fighting Peter fúcking Manfredo Jr. Can you imagine any possibility that IF Froch beats Ward that he's going to fight Allan Green and Jesse Brinkley? If Froch wins it'll be either Kessler or Ward rematch or Bute or maybe Hopkins at LHW.
Exactamondo...... Calzaghe was a freak- shame he was held back for so long it led to many non believers. Froch will never overtake calzaghe h2h.... any chance of that died with the kessler loss.
