Timothy Bradley to face Vernon Paris on March 24th?

    I was over at the Scene and somebody broke the news that Paris tweeted that he will be fighting Bradley on March 24th on HBO. Sure enough, here's Paris's tweet:

    VERNONPARISVIP VERNON ICEMAN PARIS
    My next fight is going to be against.. Timothy Desert Storm Bradley.. Hbo!!

    Wondering if there's any truth to this? I think it's a good fight. I had never seen Paris fight before prior to Tim Coleman on ESPN2, but he looked like a nice prospect in that fight. And on highlight tapes, he looks talented. I think Bradley would win pretty wide, but some rounds might be competitive and fierce. Both love to rip to the body.

    It's definitely a big step up for this guy. I wouldn't mind it, but maybe his handlers should throw him in with somebody like Alvarado, Holt, etc. first.

    Vernon is a Floyd Sr. fighter I wonder if Bradley's folks are doing this to get a feel for the Mayweather style?

    Damn didn't pay the man after he trained you to beat his bro's pupil. Pathetic.

    Oh well, Vernon still uses their style, that is the only reason I can see Tim fighting him, especially if he is going up to 147.

    I doubt that. At the end of the day the fighter makes the decisions of who he wants to fight and if a Floyd offer is on the table Bradley is going to take it outside of Arum's advisement.
