Pacquiao Fans Don't Want To See Him Fight Mayweather:

I'm also a Pac fan, and I also want the next fight to be against Mayweather. After seeing Paquiao's last fight, Floyd may now think that he can beat him. Previously he would make it appear as if he wants the fight, but would put obstacles which effectively killed the chances of making it happen.

The last announcement of a May 5 fight is one example, although it should be pointed out that it was not Floyd himself who said it. They made it appear as though they want a May 5 fight with Pacquiao. Obviously there were no negotiations yet. First of all, there was no agreement yet regarding the date and venue. Secondly, they announced it ten days before the Marquez fight. Do you think team Pacquiao would have been negotiating that time when they had been preparing for Marquez. Thirdly, they said they want the biggest fight there is, the fight with the "little fella." They did not mention Pacquiao by name. So their announcement of a fight on that date cannot be taken seriously. Maybe now they should start to talk.

Team Pacquiao on the other hand should also insist on this, as Arum doesn't seem to be particularly enthused about that fight, preferring a rematch against Marquez. Fans on both sides should pressure the promoters into making the fight, assuming the fighters are willing. Manny wants the fight because he knows the fans want it.

 

Im a Filipino, i want to see him fight mayweather first. IF and that's a big IF he can beat money then he can retire at the top of the world without fighting marquez. A fourth fight with marquez should be the second choice but i dont want to see a fourth time robbery. BTW i dont blame pacquiao for winning the fight, Greedy Arum and the 3 stupid judges should be blamed for the robbery.
