In what round will Wladimir stop Mormeck?

I think JeanMarc will actually trouble Wlad early. He'll pressure him and stay inside and squirm out of clinches and punch on the way out.....he did well with that strategy against tiggy and Oquendo, and he should look to do the same vs Wlad.

However, his in and out style, and lack of pure HW power will likely only trouble Wlad for about 5 rounds. By then, the jab will be established completely, Mormeck will begin to swell, and will find himself on the long end of a right hand around the 6th. I see him getting up once or twice, but when the cuts open up, and the KDs start adding up, I gotta see a mercy stoppage around 7-9.


Your'e right though, Mormeck is coming to fight, and he'll either take a decision win away or be KOd trying.

 

I think he carries him for a bit, Wlad is caution first. I don't really have a problem with that, but it will make a late stoppage. I say 9-10

 

I can't see that. I think Wlad stops him when he likes really, but typical Wlad caution is likely to see that delayed a few rounds. I expect Wlad to get a KO after an utter domination, with Mormeck failing to beat the count. Mormeck's style is not conducive to getting on the inside against someone as good on the outside as Wlad. Mormeck is utterly out of his depth here.

 

He probably drops him early, then should ko him but patiently works behind his jab till the ref jumps in around r.10

 

I voted 7-8. But we all know he could get him out of there in the first 4 if he pushed for it

7-8, Wlad could do it sooner but he is Wlad.

 

I assume this fight goes the distance with Mormeck outboxing Volo from the outside to a wide, uncontroversial, unanimous decision.
