If Benitez schooled Duran, Mayweather makes him look bad. Who has Duran beaten that is remembered in boxing other than Leonard(Barkley?). As a young fighter he looked good against average fighters. I don't do highlights like a lot of these fake boxing fans. I study entire fights. Get at me.

At what weight class? I'd say under 140 definitely beats all 3 but, at at 147 Pacquaio definitely (Pac never got hit by anyone remotely close to Duran) Marquez, actually this would be interesting if Marquez fights the same way he fought Pacquaio in the 3rd fight but Duran would be a little too much but Marquez would be game and Floyd would frustrate him immensely. Floyd probably wins this long as he dosent do a SRR and try to trade with him.

JMM would be the only one who would have the balls to fight him and he would probably fight him at his weight too. Pac would want to drain him and Floyd would make him use pillows

Yeah this goes without saying. The Palomino/Leonard I versions would OBLITERATE those 3 guys. He simply outclasses them.

I think his prime is late 70's even before he won a title- early/mid 80's, he was more exciting in the early 80's and definitely not that far away from his prime I think:p regardless of that it still makes duran's performance very good considering what brutal ko streak hagler was one when they faced off and considering where duran came from.

Because they are not worth mentioning. Those guys get slaughtered by the 3 mentioned in the thread. Not including Hagler of course. When you have trilogys that means there had to be some sort of doubt.

He was a mugger, not a classy fighter. He might knock your head off but he wasn't going to outbox or outclass anybody.

If you haven't seen Duran-Benitez, don't comment on it.

If you haven't watched any Buchanan fights, don't comment on him.

    That would be my advice.

Kobayashi and marcel would give pac and marquez a very good fight, same could be said for buchanan vs floyd imo, I think cuevas would beat marquez that fought pac.
Sure there was doubt cause dejesus beat him once, but that doesnt mean it wasnt good to avenge the loss.
Do you feel like duran has a weak resume?

Duran would have beat the life out of that punk Mayweather and Marquez, and the rest of those fighters in his weight class in any era. Hey, let's see what Mayweather, Pacquiao and Marquez could do against SR Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Herans, Wilfredo Benitez, Carlos Palomino and Iran barkley. Then and only then can you even think of any of those guys beating DURAN. Pound For Pound The Greatest Fighter that's ever stepped in the ring.

    "DURAN" "DURAN" "DURAN" "DURAN"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
