ortiz needs 2 or 3 more wins at WW to fight floyd again, IMO.

 

He doesn't deserve a rematch. I like Victor, but he blew his big chance by dropping his hands. A PPV event where people pay good money to see him come and perform at a professional level. I like Victor's personality and he is a good fighter but not deserving of a rematch. He should fight Maidana and a few others and earn himself the big money fight. The problem is Floyd handpicked him before he deserved it.

 

Quite frankly Victor had his shot at greatness and blew it . He needs to take his ass to the back of the line and fight his way back up. I myself am tired of seeing these ****in retread fights. Let the up and comming fighters get a shot and I am referring to Mike Jones although I know that there are several others. I think Mike deserves the shot at Berto. Who knows, it might even be a better fight than the Ortiz fight. All Im saying is that the belt holders need to be challenged by worthy and fresh opponets. It allows a sense of movement in the ranks. If Victor dont want no money then he needs to go put on charity matches somewhere because this **** is always about the money. Ask them judges for the Marquez / Pac fight and theyll tell you. Ortiz stumbled a little after a counter right hand from Mayweather while Ortiz was throwing a left hook. This was toward the end of rd 3. Mayweather saw this which is why he looked to jump on him right away in the beginning of rd 4.

Ortiz was slightly stunned twice in the fight, even got on the back foot though he was the bigger man.

Most importantly the kid jumped up off the ground to intentionally head butt another fighter, that's a disgrace.

 

He goes to the back of the line. Ortiz can't draw flies anyway.

The difference is vs Berto he felt he had something to prove and his fighting spirit allowed him to get up and fight on. Vs Mayweather he wanted out of that fight believing he can claim sucker punch.
