Fernando Montiel vs. Victor Terrazas

I just caught the last half of the fifth round, to see Montiel get dropped HARD by a Terrazas right hand! :scaredas:

He was badly shaken up!!

Round 6

Montiel is jabbing and circling left, dodging the left hooks of Terrazas. Straight right by Terrazas. Clubbing shot. Montiel ducks down and works the body. Now Montiel moves left. Hook to the body by Montiel. High jabs by Terrazas. Montiel jabs and feints from outside, and Terrazas mirrors him. Cobra and mongoose stuff here. Both coiled and ready to attack, but cautious. Montiel chops with a jab. Left hook, right uppercut jumping in by Terrazas. Quiet pressure by Terrazas, and he lands a chopping right to the cheek!

I don't know how the first four rounds went, but Victor is 20-17 in these last two!

 

Mine was a minute earlier.

 

Terrazas isn't a bad fighter though! Montiel has to hang tough!!

If he can be careful and come back this could be a big win! :bbb

 

Round 7

Terrazas is stalking, throwing jabs and rights up top. Hard body shots by Montiel. Left hook to the jaw by Terrazas. Montiel keeps ducking by and dropping combos to the body. Montiel straightens up and jabs while moving left. Terrazas walks him into a corner and hooks high at his head. Double jab stuffed in Montiel's face. Terrazas jumps back out of the way of a feinted Montiel hook. Thudding 1-2 to the face by Terrazas, thrown in counter past a Montiel jab. RIPPING hook combo to the head by Terrazas, but Montiel gets the back of his right hand in the way. Jabs and rights to the face spearing in by Terrazas as Montiel leans back against the ropes trying to slip. Montiel comes forward and ties up. Swiping left hook by Montiel misses as Terrazas leaps back on his toes.

Round 8

Terrazas comes forward and eats a few well-placed jabs as Montiel slides back and finds his range. Terrazas throws hooks up at the right temple and uppercuts to the ribs jumping in. Montiel is landing some beautiful counters backing up and circling left. Nice fast hooks and hedge clippers. Right hand by Montiel. Right hand by Terrazas, bang on the chin!!

Montiel probably has an entire jar of Vaseline on his face.
