I'm surprised everyone didn't order it or pirate it because with the stylistic match-up there was almost no chance that it could suck. I don't know that I expected an ATG war like what we were treated to but I knew it was worth the money, particularly given the fairly strong undercard.

I never said Aldo-Hominick was better, from what I remember remember that was a great fight as well, since then I haven't seen a entertaining fight like that one, am I the only one who thinks Hendo-Shougun could have been much better? maybe back and forth through out the whole fight, not just on the 1st 3 rounds, Now that would be a Fight of the Decade type, maybe I'm asking for too much since when I think of fights of the Decade I think of fast paced back and forth none stop action, but for MMA standards that was above average. Hendo-Shougun was Classic for 3 rounds.

what a amazing fight, i'm actually sad that shogun has to walk away with a L on his record after that showing of chin and heart. IMO there are no losers in this fight.

Getting a chance now to see it. Hendo has look at end of the third of - what in the hell is keeping this man in the fight? Shogun has the biggest fighting heart in mma.

This is why I'm against the division of promotional companies. It robs us of epic fights like Shogun-Hendo. Amazing fight. In my book Hendo eked out a win. But I'm already looking forward to a rematch.

4th round has to be round of the year. Each man almost ended it. Hendo in the middle of the round then Shogun storms back to pummel Hendo and take him down. Incredible.

Their faces told the story at the end. Both, especially Shogun's, were grotesque masks. This was life and death combat between two proud men both with wills of steel. I had Hendo winning by the slimmest of margins. A draw also would have been okay imo.

It's not surprising to see Hendo with that IV in his arm. I thought that he was going to collapse during the post-fight interview.

That was an awesome fight, but I wonder if either of these guys are going to be the same in the future. Going to war like that takes a lot out of fighters, even alphas like Rua and Henderson.
