Choc beat Geale but it was close. The late kd made the difference :good

Sox, I do not think Geale is bad, I think he is top 10 MW, my problem is he has actually never fought anyone of remote substance outside of Choc, Karmazin and Sylvester. And seeing how each of those three has done since Geale, it makes me wonder where Geale really stands worldwide.
He may be the real deale, lets hope he is! But I think it is clear he need a real win against a genuine top 10 prime now to test where he is at. Do you agree on that?

    Yes, to a point.
I guess I see something in Geale which makes me believe he can make it right to the top.

When was the last time you saw Geale in any kind of trouble?
As for Sylvester and Karmazin, it could be said that Geale ruined them, particularly Karmazin. Wasn't he in hospital for 3 days after they fought?
Sylvesters self esteem would certainly have been shot to ****.

What can I say, I think Geale really is the real deal.

Geale was in trouble when Choc sat him on his butt. It cost Geale the fight to.

In what way was he in trouble?
It was a flash knockdown and it didn't hinder his performance immediately after it, I didn't see jelly legs, did you?
If it had of, Mandy would have capitalised on it, which he clearly couldn't because there was nothing to capitalise on.

True enough about it assisting with the loss on the judges cards though.

That knock down cost him the fight. Can't get in any more trouble than that :patsch

In other words it didn't trouble him.

Losing troubled him. And the reason he lost is because of that knock down :patsch

The reason he lost is because team mundine had their men standing over the judges!!!

Geale should of got the nod against mandy but it was a close fight. A real fighter would of rematched but at least he went on to win a legit world title belt & did it in fine fashion beating the german champion on points in Germany. Doesn't get any better than that. And mandy went on to............get koed by Garth Woods.

    Hopefully Sammy gets past Adama.

I clicked on the link and then clicked on the link to Mundine - Soliman which is a gallery of their third fight in Melbourne and almost every picture of the fight is of Sammy throwing a punch, haha! A typical anti-Mundine gesture from the Herald Sun I take, especially given the result on the night.
