Just stop it. Nobody with a pair of eyes and proper judgement had it for Pac, only *******s and writers with an agenda for Pac-Floyd working against any controversy just to help that one get done. There's no such thing as subjective scoring but proper and improper, the only question is whether Marquez won 7, 8 or 9 rounds on your card.

Stop coming back with a million threads saying the sky is green, the grass is blue, cyan is healthy and Pacquiao legitimately won, it will never become true. EVER! :deal

People are just not fond of seeing Manny not winning via lopsided victory. And as if the first 2 bouts were any different. Goes to show how that many people here "know about boxing".

And since its been mentioned. Watch replays, use slow motions and such. I have Manny winning. 115-113

i actually scored the fight a draw and when buffer announced the 116-112 score i said to myself "**** pac lost" because that would be an impossible score in favor of pac.

    No

    I had it 115-114 Pacquiao.

    This is my scorecard:

    10 9 pac
    9 10 marquez
    10 9 pac
    9 10 marquez
    9 10 marquez
    10 9 pac
    10 10 even
    10 9 pac
    9 10 Marquez
    9 10 marquez
    10 9 pac
    10 9 pac

I felt round 12 could of gone either way and the fight was still up for grabs in the 12th round on my scorecard. on second viewing this fight was extremely close and hard to score at times. On first viewing I fought that Marquez may have won the fight, but I realise that was based on my pre-fight expectation that Pac was going to KTFO Marquez, and also down to the fact I was watching on a low quality stream which kept cutting out.

When I rewatched the fight in better quality video, I realised Pac was landing a ton of flush right hooks and lead straight lefts that I didnt even notice land when watching on the low quality stream because Marrquez is very tough holds his chin low and his head doesn't snap back in the same way as an off balance Pac does, hence why I didn't notice the first time Pac landing so many punches, and probably the same reason a lot of people on esb didn't. But faces don't lie (see after fight photos), Pacquiao had his man marked up bad.

And don't start with the 'some ppl mark up more than others', or 'clottey must of beaten Pacquiao then' BS remarks because obviously Manny was landing alot of hard punches to the face of MArquez, anyone who's boxed would know that bad swelling around the eyes like that doesn't just appear out of no where.

The fight was no robbery and I can't understand where all this hysteria is coming from. If you want someone to blame then blame Marquez for stepping off the gas in the final 2 rounds.

I think the more that time goes on, the more people will come to realise and understand why pacquiao won the fight and how Marquez had the fight within grasp but let off the gas pedal in the closing few rounds. Marquez could of won the fight, but he didn't. It was a close fight, but no robbery, I think both fighters could of won the fight within a margin of 3 points and still not be called a robbery, the fight was that close.

If you still think it was a robbery, I urge you to rewatch the fight with no sound, in HD and no bias. score rbr objectively, and you'll probably suprise yourself how actually very close the fight was!

lederman gave 8 rounds to pacquiao. morreti gave 7 rounds. it's not really impossible if you have that many close rounds. i actually rewatched it the first time yesterday and i have pac winning 7-5 (115-113). pac actually did not do too badly as what i initially thought watching this fight live.

    pac - 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12
    jmm - 2, 5, 6, 7, 9

i admit though that lots are close rounds that could easily go either way so i would not complain with guys scoring it for marquez with the same score as mine. the problem is with people acting like marquez won "clearly" each rounds which is totally false. the only clear round in the entire fight is round 5 and even in that round, pac landed a couple of good shots early on.

I hate people who say this kind of ****...

I also scored it for JMM, by a fairly large margin; however, I can also recognize that there is a lot of subjectivity in boxing. Things aren't so black and white in competitive matches.

I don't believe that I could be convinced that JMM lost that fight, but I am not willing to say that my opinion is the only valid opinion; that is the mark of ignorance.

Compubox numbers have very little merit, if any when it comes to scoring a bout, or judging a bout. Punch totals also hold very little merit when judging a bout on a round by round basis.

Boxer A lands 200 shots in the first round. Only lands 1 punch in each of the following 11 rounds. Boxer B lands 0 punches in round 1.

Boxer B lands 210 shots spread consistently and evenly over the following 11 rounds.

    Does Boxer A win?
