Am I the only one who thinks that they didn't want 2 young americans with a bright future having a fight together in the Super 6 and that they made sure they didn't had to face each other (Ward-Dirrell). I mean, these guys are RL friends, 2 future superstars, one olympic gold medalist...This was the fight that was about to happen before that suspicious injury...Sometimes money talks. It's just a thought that I had....What do you think?
Good to see one of the most talented SMWs back, hope he still has the skills he showed v Abraham. It was getting worrying how long he took off after Abraham fight. Still has no real losses yet. I like boxing and watching quality boxers.
Doesnt explain why Dirrell spent almost 2 years away from boxing, he could have had 4 fights in the time since he last fough and made a couple of million. Theres something else. Dont be shocked if this supposed fight of his doesnt get the go ahead.
The reason he's not fought is because no TV company will touch him. HBO, Showtime and ESPN rejected his fights because he's thoroughly boring.

HBO did blacklist him from years ago and his recent return was cancelled because they couldn't get a TV deal. The fight with Demers was originally for August 5th, got pushed back to August 19th, got pushed back to September and now it's being targeted for December, and this is all because no TV will pay to show the fight.
