He has to beat Renan St-Juste first. If Anthony thinks it will be easy, it could be dangerous for him. St-Juste is a southpaw with some good pop.

In his last fight he knocked down AA, a fighter never stopped, ever down before? one of the best chins in boxing. He rocked him alot of times. He also rocked Froch, another durable fighter. These two fights are his only fights at world level, he outboxed both opponents and most poeple think he won both fights, one away from home.

Quality fighter, anyone who loves boxing should like somone as talented as Dirrell.

Good to see Andre back in the ring. His brother will be fighting a WBC eliminator bout. That will be interesting if Anthony Dirrell gets a shot at Froch or Ward.

Mario Veit is known for one thing and one thing only.

Getting the absolute **** beaten out of him twice by Joe Calzaghe.

Yes to people who only watch main stream boxing you are probably right, but your posts show the difference of a boxing fan and a casual fan. A boxing fan doesnt just focus on one fight but a whole career. I guess you two are casual fans who only know the highlighted loss.
    Time to educate you both

Veit was a solid top 10 SMW
Veit had beaten undefeated Dziarra who wasnt a great fighter but did go on to beat L Mock and undefeated M Oral who would go on to challenge MW champs A Abraham and S Sylvester.
Veit had also beaten beaten undefeated Guerrero for the European union title.
Veit beat future title challengers Salem and Mock.
Veit also beat world rated C Brewer with an educated destructive 9th round KO to win the WBO INT title.
A note on Veit. He only ever lost to world champs or fighters who became world champs and has victories over Mock, Salem, Perdermo (a future Kessler challenger), Brewer when Brewer was world rated and Veit beat undefeated Braehmer who went on to become WBO LHW.
Veit was WBO interim world champ. For you casual fans that is when the champ is tied up so the top 2 challengers box off for the interim title. If the champ were to vacate they become champ automatically.

As you can both see Veit has done alot more than Dirrell :hi:
