Dib would be in for a rude awakening here. He isn't half the scrapper Daud Yordan is, and John proved that even with his legs half gone (Cory Spinks/Ivan Calderon syndrome, I call it) he can still stand and bang it out with a world-ranked contender and come out on top. Dib should be thankful if he's left 2% of the purse split with a probable Hall of Fame inductee like The Dragon...and if it comes off he'll have the **** beaten out of him so bad that no paycheck could be worth it. :good
I'm sorry but I have a hard time accepting that Dib actually wants to fight John after the last hand picked opponent.
John reportedly makes upwards of 500k fighting ordinary foe in his home country. As lewcowicz says, he fights there as it makes most economic sense. Why doesnt dib go to indo and fight him there?

Oh and no matter how many no-hopers he defends his belt against, Dib will never be a boil on Geale's ass. Geale IS the future of Aussie boxing right now. Geale and Omotoso. (and maybe Katsidis for a little while longer...and maybe Pitt if he pans out and patches up his defense).
