    The WBC belt will be perched right up next to the IBO belt if Green is silly enough to take him on again :hi: I spose i may be getting ahead of myself he still has to beat the Polski!!!

    Greens not silly enough to get destroyed again by Tarver.......... he'll say Tarver's avoiding the rematch, pricing himself out blah blah blah

    Can't wait for Danny to do the Sydney to Hobart again this year..... hopefully he'll take the WBC belt with him and both fall overboard :D

    i caught that one to but decided to leave it and see where it would go. Seems LJD forgets that his idol proudly held the belt for 2 yrs, RJJ wouldnt have fought him if he didnt have it, nor would Tarver. As for Siaca, Briggs, BJ Flores no big deal, atleast he finally realises his idol trotted around with a bullsht belt.

    When Danny held the IBO title did you ever hear me say that it was on the level of the other 4 belts?
    It's a good marketing tool and it helped him get some big fights and as you said without it he wouldn't of got RJJ and Tarver down here.
    But it hardly compares to the WBC belt.

    Of course he is. His hero no longer has it.

    But fact of the matter is the IBO is not considered a credible sanctioning body. Hence their champions are not officially recognised.

    It's not about playing down anything the fact of the matter is the IBO title is a lot less prestigious than the WBC title simple as that.
    Ask Greeny which title he'd rather hold and you'll get your answer.

    However i think that greeny would think of it a bit more highly then you have

    He is a 3 time world champ

    ptretty sure the IBO counts as one

    so should be held up and respected
