The reason Pac was hesitant was becuase he is a more technical fighter than fights 1 and 2. You really think Marquez' conditioning coach (regardless of his past) could turn him into the incredible hulk in 2 months, come on man. And actually, marquez hurt him more in the 2nd fight than the 3rd one. Manny has just been fighting opposition in the past 2 years, that didn't have the pure boxing skills of Maruez, so a lot of people were surprised by the oucome of the fight, as they thought it would be a landslide victory. Though it was close (as I don't feel it was a robbery), Manny struggled with a 38 year old, still great, but worn fighter and didn't look impressive.

 

After all, it was a really good fight between two great fighters. We seem to overlook that.
