I'm not interested in suppressing you the same i'm not interested in debating the same thing over and over again.

Do you not wish to talk about non-duran related scenarios every so often?

"beating the **** out of him" seems excessive in my opinion ...

Sure SRL fought in a smart fashion controlling and frustrating Duran to the point of driving him to call it quits. Sure that is a brilliant display of boxiing skills, but that's is not exactly "beating the **** out"

Waiting for the Duran fanboys to claim that:

-Leonard somehow forced Duran - the champion - in the ring for the rematch, and forced him to be "fat" (despite looking in good shape). How does not preparing for a huge fight enhance your legacy?

-The loss doesn't count because "Duwan had stomach cwamps!".

Oh wait, people here already claimed that. :-(

Well, it did take a mountainous "sack" to have the bottle to quit in such a big fight. MAB lacked this "sack" in his first fight with Manny Pacquiao, apparently. :yep

    Duran was a G.

Yeah, he's a real hero for going against the public. Imagine how great Joe Louis could've been if he quit and walked out of the ring half-way through the first round of the Schmeling rematch.

Duran gave up his G-card that night.

No, you don't understand. Quitting only enhances Duran's reputation and therefore instead of losing his G-card, he actually got promoted from being just a regular G to being an O.G.

Oh, I'm with you. Duran seperated himself from all of the G's that came before him that night. Whilst they were all being samey and earning their G card by walking through everyone in their path, and coming out on top in destructive wars, Duran was breaking the mould by saying "No mas". Duran reinvented the G. Innovator.

Not one single professional, human athlete could possibly get in fighting shape in the miniscule timeframe of 6 months. ****ing Leontards trying to make out it was anything close to an acceptable window to prepare for a fight.

And i agree with Pooranimal and Softhands69. Leonard didnt make him quit..he quit himself! It cancels it out, bra!

It was'nt till mid september that Janks Morten put the jump on Duran's management with the mega $9MILLION bait, thats got to be $30MILLION+ in todays money & by mid september Duran had already gorged himself into a hogzilla on steroids. Take the November date or we'll go after Pipino Cuevas Morton told Eleta. Ray Arcel & Freddie Brown said it had to january but Morten said take it or leave it & Don King said it's a deal providing the $9MILLION is paid in advance into a panamaian bank & to be released the moment Duran got into the ring. Duran's management did'nt give a **** about what condition Duran was in they were cashing in their chips for this mega payday & the *******s have all admitted it. Just make sure he makes the weight & we all get paid.
