Ibragimov is gonna outbox mitchell!!! Hopefully a great fight!!

It should be a good fight regardless. Ibragimov is probably kicking himself knowing he could have been fighting a Klitschko now but for an unlucky split decision defeat to Mormeck, was on a good run prior to that from what I can remember.

 

Timur Ibragimov isn't a hard puncher and he's a bit faded due to age and inactivity now. There's no chance he'll win this.

That being said, he's durable and has a decent defense, so I imagine he'll give Mitchell some rounds.

 

Timur is very average in most respects and he has mental weakness. Mitchell wins this

 

Timur is underrated. I think that Mitchell's people have picked the wrong opponent.

This is going to be an interesting fight. Mitchell has speed, KO power, a great jab, and massive upper-body strength. Ibragimov is the vastly more seasoned fighter and a superior, trickier boxer.

A big question here is how will Mitchell react when he gets hit consistently by sneaky rights and left hooks from many different angles. Can Mitchell take a punch? We don't yet know. Will Mitchell freeze and go into a defensive shell?

If you watch the film of Mitchell KO3 Ferrerya, you'll see that Ferrerya is able to reach Mitchell with rights and combos sometimes, very briefly. On each occasion, Mitchell stopped punching, and shifted onto his backfoot. That's a hint that he is not used to getting hit.

Another interesting thing about the Ferrerya fight is that Mitchell connects with many punches, yet Ferrerya manages to stand up to most of the shots. Ultimately Ferrerya collapsed from exhaustion more than anything else (he was a last minute sub and was obviously out of shape).

It will be very, very interesting to see what happens on Dec. 10.

 

Mitchell has heavily muscled arms, and throws lots of punches. That raises the question of whether his stamina will hold out over the long haul in a fight. I remember what happened to Vlad against Brewster in 2004: Mitchell could be at risk of suffering a similar fatigue related collapse if forced to fight hard.

Timur to win by late stoppage. Mitchell is over hyped.
