I know for a fact Arum has been trying to make Pacquiao-Mayweather for two years, he even flew to the Philippines to persuade Pacquiao to agree to Floyd’s original rush date after the KO of Cotto but which of course would eventually be exposed as a bluff by Mayweathe. After Arum got suckered into fake negotiations with Ross Greenburg and Al Haymon, in which the Mayweather side later lied about saying the negotiation never took place, it’s obvious the Mayweather side was only faking their side of the aborted negotiations to feign that they wanted the fight so as to cover up the implication of cowardice.. So it’s fair to say Arum is annoyed by Haymon, Schaefer and Mayweather and now that the time is finally perfectly right to make Pacquiao vs. Mayweather, Arum may have a trick up his sleeve since he’s in the position of power. Haymon and Schaefer want the money now, buy why should Arum do any favors for them after they made him jump through so many hoops?

I don't think Arum ever wanted the fight. He knows Floyd has a great chance of beating Pac. If that happens, there goes his gravy train. Arum is just going to squeeze Pac as much as possible and make this fight maybe 2 years from now when Pac is clearly on the decline. Also, he makes in-house fights so he doesn't have to share the profits. Greedy SOB. Probably the devil.
