I'm rooting for Vitali. But expect Haye to put forth a much more respectable effort. Based on styles, Vitali is better for him. Should be a pretty entertaining scrap if Haye doesn't run the whole way. Looking forward to the build-up.

You really think he'll do better? IMO I think he's retired and just takes the fight to earn the extra money he needs. I expect a 100% survival mode Haye trying not get his face messed up. A KO1 or KO2 Marquez/Ramos style would not surprise me at all.

Yup. I think it’s because Vitali isn’t as defensively minded as his brother, and will always give Haye more opportunities to land his hayemakers. But you could be right, though. Knowing Haye, he could pull another Wladimir type fight and hop on his bike to survive. Whatever the case, it’s the best available fight for Vitali from not only the financial side of things, but because he’s the only nearest challenger out there. I’m all for it.

He's been in several HW threads slacking on Wlad's creds.

Welcome back Haye fans. For now....:bbb

Of course, even I make them! :D
But it was more a reaction on the "only a few people saying Haye had a chance, and maybe 3 that he would knock him out" statement. :yep

Compared to the amount of people on this website, I really don't remember that many people giving him much of a chance, and people from work knew he wasn't going to win and they don't even follow boxing. No matter how many threads you bring up this bull**** about how all brits thought he was going to win is just ridiculous.

There is a HUGE difference between your statement (maybe 3 by KO) and the actual numbers... about 1/3 posters here had Haye winning, and those polls were highly affected by the Brits.
Of course I know it was more idle hope and British pride as them really believing Haye would actually pull it off (like on fight night at the HSV stadium), but don't say they didn't shout it from the roofs here at ESB :nono

The only person slicker and blacker than David Haye is David Haye's Dad. If his Dad would have married a black woman Haye would KO1 Wlad and Vitali, no doubt
