Have their been more impressive back to back performances in the last decade? As in being in with genuinely world class opponents and destroying and dominating both?

  2. hatton was ****ed by the time pacquiao got to him hardly even a victory to be noticed

Pacman did do it in just two rounds. He almost ended it in the first.
Not as impressive as the OP makes it out to be.

Both not their best, both perfect style match ups. If a guy just stands in front of Manny with no real defense, he'll get eaten up. Very impressive by Manny to dominate them, but the opponents were both B level fighters.

this is easy. hatton was a leftover and previously destroyed by floyd. cotto is a leftover of margo and was diminished to a shell since. plus, cotto was greatly affected by the catchweight. factor in how pac is a proven ped user, these are highly over rated wins by a man that should retire now from boxing for being exposed as another so-sol fighter who will settle in the same level of zoo years from now.

You may as well throw De La Hoya in there too, for the trifecta.

hatton coming of one of his top 3 or 4 wins beating IBF titleholder malignaggi and cotto coming of one of his top 5 wins beating IBF title holder clottey. Both younger than pacquaio i think.

Yes Lewis beating Tyson and Vitali back to back. A few others are arguable. There's RJJ beating Ruiz and Tarver back to back. Mayweather beating Marquez and Mosley back to back.

Pacquaio fighting Marquez and MAB back to back are probably better P4P opponents but imo he didn't beat JMM in '08

Pac is a bum. Who struggles against nobodies like JMM?
His name should be thrown in a pit and never be mentioned again in an ATG sense along the likes of Ali who also struggled against Frazier.
They are clearly overrated bums of the sport.

Says who? Remember that before the fight, many of these so-called boxing experts believed Hatton would beat Pacquiao because he was the bigger and stronger fighter. 140 was his territory. But after he was brutally knocked out, this BS excuse of Hatton being a ****ed up fighter cropped up.

Hardly a victory to be noticed? If that will make you feel better, go ahead and make yourself believe that. :yep

Combined they're an excellent set of wins, people are saying 'they were perfect styles for Pacquiao' but he still had to get the job done and he did it spectacularly.

Hatton was still the man at 140, he had just dominated the man at no.2 in the division in Malliganggi.

It was a very impressive victory.

If you consider Hatton and Cotto as B level fighters, what does that make all the other fighters that Hatton & Cotto defeated?

Nah.. I get it. Only Mayweather and all those who Pacquiao lost to or had difficult fights with are A+ fighters. Feeling better now? :hey
