Yes, I agree with the Ring's ranking and most of the reasons they stated for keeping him at #1. In the same span of 3 years, Floyd is 3-0 while Pac is 9-0.

This year was a shitty year for Pac. That Mosley fight and JMM fight did not help him at all.

floyd would take a long vacation once more and yahoo would realize that moving floyd up is a wrong move when he only has fought once for the last 2 years.

Yes, and Floyd could have overtaken him with a good / dominant performance over Ortiz. So while Pac had a bad year, none of the other contenders for the P4P throne like Floyd or Martinez performed well enough to take over the spot.

If activity is so important to The Ring, how come they inserted Mayweather at no. 2 after he won a fight coming off a 21 month layoff?

Yes it has, which is why he needs to cash out now. I mean really, if he fights Floyd now, the money will be huge for him. If he fights JMM again, he'll get good money, but he will lose again and get the decision.

This would make matters EVEN WORSE for him. He needs to do the Floyd fight now, and get his **** together so he can give a good performance.

After he loses, he can fight JMM again, or Bradley. The point is, the time for the fight is now, he wants that huge purse, so he needs to make it happen. If he waits any longer, he might lose again. Who knows, JMM may kick his ass even more next time out. :think

actually this was not the first time that it happened. yahoo, moved floyd up after his mosley win only to be taken by pac back after the margo win and floyd taking another vacation.

Bu you have to look at the opposition.
That is not a solid reason.
