because that single dominant win was against Mosley, who I remember was top 3 or if not at least top 5 Ring P4P at that time, so he can't be ranked any lower than Mosley's ranking.

It's evident he never was P4P best, never better than Marquez from 04-11

No, they put him at no.2 after he beat Marquez. They again inserted him at no.2 when he beat Ortiz coming off a 16 month layoff.

    Still is no.1 bro.

Edging a close fight with a fellow top 10 p4p ATG who has always had your number is no reason to move down the p4p, regardless of how ridiculous and irrelevant said list actually is.

There you go I said it P4P list is a joke.

Maybe. He would have to beat floyd directly or beat marquez clearly and floyd loses/retires/is inactive for 12 months.
Either way its possible to become a very clear p4p #1 again but its difficult.

Which really when a fighter hits their 30's is normal. Especially since he has been fighting professionally since he was a teen.

Yes you're right. Marquez was also highly rated P4P when Floyd defeated him.

I think he could very well have overtaken mayweather in 2008 as p4p had floyd not retired, only problem with that is mayweather would have fought oscar or hatton again thus not making it possible for pac to rise in the same way.

no just like today, yahoo elevated floyd to #1 after the mosley fight but the ring magazine retains pacquiao and rightfully so.
