Good news, Cotto should demand whatever he wishes. It's more than enough that he had to actually fight that cheater once and lose because the Tijuana taxi driver had loaded gloves.

This.. Plus people act like N.Y. is all P.R.'s. I'm Puerto Rican and I live in Brooklyn and trust me there's nearly as many if not as many Mexicans.

It's about time he dictates something. I wouldn't fight outside of NY either...and cut with the scared BS. These guys are professionals. He signed for the fight for it being in New York. Why would he scared to fight outside of New York? Will punches hurt him more elsewhere?

Backing Cotto on this **** if Bob still wants the fight he better up Cotto purse a lot. Bob is moving the fight to a city that wil have way more Marg fans than Cotto's. Sound like Bob was blindsided by this

As has already been said, Arum has blatantly told him to say this to put further pressure on NYSAC

Don't agree with this theory. Why would the NYSAC care whether the fight takes place somewhere else or not if they turn down his license? They're under no obligation to make sure it takes place in Denver or wherever if they've already denied his license. Further, Arum's abrupt cutting off of the conference call and efforts to steer questions in another direction does seem to indicate this wasn't in his plans. It could all be a performance, but I don't get exactly what the point of it is or how this actually results in further pressure on the commission.

It has nothing to do with Arum, any real fighter would try to avenge his L by any means neccessary. Cotto fears Margarito, and if he finds a way to duck this fight I could no longer forgive him......................I don't even know why he's so adament on having the fight in NYC, being from NY myself Ricans don't even like him, they show up to his fights and cheer Tito, cause they know Cotto is ***** at heart
