Yep, and he faced them. :deal When Floyd was in a stacked WW division, he retired, then came back to face a LW.
Imagine how sick floyds resume would have been if he had added tszyu, williams, cotto, margarito and mosley a few years earlier, as well as pac and martinez. Even if he had picked up a few losses he still would be ranked much higher than today.
The question is if Floyd lost how would he recover, because there's no way he would go through that list, without losing. I think mentally it'd destroy him. I suspect he knows it too, that's why he waited for the smoke to clear. For Williams to be no longer be a welterweight, for Shane to get older and Cotto/Margarito to ruin eachother.
This is why Floyd is a not a true great. After Hatton, he "retired" just to avoid even the prospect of hard fight. He just sat back, and let them all beat each other up, and come in and take the scraps. JMM did beat Manny in the 3rd fight, but this is the main difference between the two. Manny is living legend, Floyd is a coward.
Thats exactly what I want to see Floyd react to ... I wonder how Floyd will react after a loss ? Would he be a Hatton or a Wlad or a Cotto? I think thats the ultimate test of a fighters heart .. what they do after they lose.
The same LW that made Manny look bad, to say the least. Not to mention the fact that Marquez was a tune-up fight.
Pac's greatest win is over Cotto, Mayweather's is Corrales. Pac's is better, but that's just my opinion. He looked incredible that night.
whoever thought manny was going to steam roll through **** drinker don't know **** bout boxing people who know wassup know that manny will always have problems against **** drinker, styles make fights, and yet, while manny has these problems against **** drinker, he still edges out a victory he's the one holding 2 W's under his belt while **** drinker has 0 W's
Yes, b/c the officials are always right. I like Manny alot, he is great for boxing, but I can count and he lost.
