We will see, heart wont determine the winner, it will determine how much margarito is willing to risk before he gets stopped with his eye destroyed again.

First of all Margarito is going to come in this fight MUCH bigger bec. at 153 and 2nd of all, Margarito didn't get beat up with Bricks for 11 rounds. Over at hype fight, Nazim said that Cotto proved in the pictures what we all thought, that Cotto nailed him, that it looked like porcelain on top of that gauze!

I disagree on the guarantee part. Although a normal human being would, Marg is seriously build differently. Alot of my relatives from Mexico carry the same demeanor as him, and I can guarantee you that they would die before throwing their hands up. Who knows about Marg, but I wouldn't doubt the loony taking a bullet before surrendering.

Now, before you get all morally correct, I do think its stupid. But hey, some people are just like that and Marg is one of those.

.. Naw, I kid. Pacquiao did the damage through sheer accumulation of hard punches. No way Margarito landed nearly as often as Pacquiao did, yet he still did the same kind of damage. :think

 

No, my point was Margarito did that same amount of damage to Cotto despite landing less than Pacquaio did. So either he's a much harder hitter or he was using bricks.

Im trying hard not letting the fans influence my judgement on this one. Cotto obsessors and Margo lovers have both been giving me heart burn and headaches with all the bitching and self righteous promotion. Margo's mindless pride and Cotto's physcological battle with his own demons. Margo hasnt one **** yet and neither has Cotto, can we stop these pointless threads.

 

Cotto keeps throwing up excuses:

"I gassed after the 6th round"

"He used loaded gloves"

Well, if Cotto gasses again, he'll be there for Margo to hit constantly, just like in the first fight, and Margo will monster him again.

So what is Cotto's plan? If Cotto is relying on Margo having used loaded gloves in their first encounter, and therefore thinks he will be able to take Margo's punches better, then all he can hope to do in the rematch is survive the 12 rounds and win on points, because he's not knocking Margo out - he hit him with everything in the first few rounds of their first fight and not once could he stop Margarito from pressuring him.

He also can't go in there relying on the hope that Margo's chin has deteriorated either, because we saw in both the Mosley and Pac fights that he was able to withstand 10-12 rounds of punishment. It may well have, but what if it hasn't? What is Cotto's Plan B then?

Unless Cotto has learnt how to punch harder, or has massively improved his stamina, or Margarito's chin has deteriorated drastically, Cotto can still hit him with everything and Margo will just keep coming - this factor has zero dependancy on whether or not Margo had loaded gloves.
