Come on ESB geniuses...answer this one. How much is Mormeck getting for the Klitschko fight? It must be a half million or more. Who knows the answer?
I have no idea. I agree it is likely more than 500K. Also likely less than 1 mil. It might depend on whether Mormeck gets a % of the revenues.
This content is protected On Tuesday, Shannon Briggs filed a major lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court, alleging breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, unjust enrichment and breach of contract against Gregory D. Cohen, Shelly Finkel and Barry Honig, and their boxing and entertainment promotional company, Empire Sports & Entertainment. In the legal filing, which seeks compensatory and punitive damages, Briggs said that he agreed to fight the powerful Vitali Klitschko with the understanding that he would be paid a purse of $750,000, but that he wound up with a mere $25,000, after he returned to the United States after the prolonged hospital stay in Hamburg. The then-38-year-old former heavyweight champ was battered for 12 rounds Oct. 16 in a WBC title bout in Hamburg, Germany, losing in a unanimous decision. The suit says Briggs has only received $25,000 for the fight that left him hospitalized for 12 days and "likely ended his boxing career." Briggs also claims The Empire's executives maneuvered to improperly eliminate his ownership stake in the company. Hall of Fame manager Shelly Finkel, The Empire's CEO, calls the suit "ridiculous." He said the defendants had not been served with the complaint, and that their lawyers would handle questions once that happened. is this worth only $750,00 I think not Klitschko Slave contracts And Mormeck is only get $500,000 That's almost Criminal :vonnecunt:vonnecunt:vonnecunt:vonnecunt:vonnecunt:****off
When talking with some of Klitschkos team recently they told me Mormeck was receiving 400K. Most fighters make around 500k but Mormeck gets French TV rights too.
Don't know, but I can't imagine it's very much... people here are already calling it the mismatch of the year (before the fight!), so why should he get much money for acting like a glorified punchbag?! :think
I don't think he can expect a huge payday considering he's a nobody, he has no belt and he's not a mandatory challenger who gets a 25% guaranteed purse cut. That being said, Mormeck probably is still getting his best payday in years. A retirement paycheck so to say.
