Yeah, the division is very deep.
We will have Froch vs Bute, Bute vs Froch, Bute vs Ward, Ward vs. Froch II, Froch vs Kessler, Kessler vs Ward II. Man, what a deep division.

I think that clearly proves a point when now in the top 10, you have Andrade still who has been beaten 3 times now, Magee who was put down 3 times and beaten by 2005 #9 Reid, Steiglitz who lost to Andrade, Arthur with limited SMW resume of Miranda and Taylor coming off a KO , Bika who lost to Soliman, Froch who was beaten by #2 of 2005, Dirrell who lost to Froch. Kessler of now who Ward beat and who beat Froch wasnt even well and suffering double vision, and Bute nearly KOd by already beaten 2005 #10.

it may have been the stronger division man-for-man back then, but it also may as well have been two divisions - SMW-UK and SMW-US. People rarely crossed the pond to fight each other.

That's what makes THIS SMW era so special. Thanks to the S6, the best have fought the best, and positive movements are being made to continue that.

Not true. It's been a wasteland since Calzaghe has retired. It's just Ward (a top class operator) and a pile of bums and Calzaghe victims.
