    I just found my 1987 fight of Bobby Czyz versus Willie Edwards from regular network TV.... Czyz and Edwards fought as light-heavies and both looked in-shape.... Edwards decked Czyz into the ropes in round 1 and looked in charge, but then round 2 came and Czyz came back and decked Edwards on his face with a wicked right hand to end matters...

    Czyz was exciting at 175 in many of his fights..... He looked like he was going out against Edwards in round 1, but came back to park Edwards hardcore in round 2... Edwards was no wuss at 175.....

    Also on the tape I have "Honeyghan-Bumphus." Jesus, poor Bumphus was shot all to hell and was easily stopped by Honeybaby in 2 rds, too... An ugly fight....

    I don't think Bumphus was shot at all, he'd looked decent against Moochy before the cut.

    Honeyghan bumrushed him.

    I don't know...... I read an interview years ago in which Lou Duva said Bumphus' balance and legs were shot and they knew he was cooked in the dressing room, but Johnny needed the payday..... J.B. looked horrid from the getgo with Honeyghan....

    I was just thinking the other day stumpy armed Bobby wouldda been better suited to being a ducker croucher bob n weaver then a stand up style fighter. Especially vs Prince Charles Williams.

    Bobby almost got the Prince outta there in fight # 1..... In any case, both fights caused Czyz some damage...

    I know Bobby very well, and he would be very grateful for all this.

    Both of us were honored last Saturday in Orange, New Jersey. Bobby was born in Orange. I see him about once a month.

    How's he doing? I always thought his commentary with superb. And obviously, he was a skilled and entertaining fighter.

    Czyz was a spunky fighter but not great at all. He lost to both Dennis Andries and Virgil Hill at light heavyweight. Two guys which the great Thomas Hearns beat easily.

    obvious that is a joke like your ridiculous picture! Czyz won titles aginst nobodies and then lost in beatings. His best win was against Andrew Maynard, another guy Thomas Hearns obliterated!!!
