What are some of the best and most destructive jabbing displays you've ever seen in all of the time you've been watching this sport? Try and accompany your selections with YT videos if at all possible. I'd like to see these performances for myself, as I'm sure the rest of the forum would also.

I really feel for Ramon Ranquello in this fight. Spinks was often noted for his right hand, "The Spinks Jinx" as he'd call it, but his left hand was far superior for me and this is a primary example. These jabs aren't only scoring punches, they are hurting Ramon. Good stoppage.

So, what are the best jabbing displays you've ever seen?

another Spinks jab clinic is the Qawi fight. after Qawi tasted the jinx in the first round, it was a jab-fest form the on

I liked Qawi's use of the jab in the first Saad Muhammad fight

Yeah, he got the jab off quite well in the first, and last, 50 seconds of his fight with Nunn. :yep

Indeed, Spinks had great jab and demonstrated it pretty much every time out. I don't think he ever used it to such great effect as he did against Ranquello though. As I say, it effectively became a power punch. Ramon was hurt, busted up, and generally not having a great time in there.

Why are people simply listing fighters with good jabs? Specific examples, please.

Douglas tore Mike a new one in Tokyo with his jab. I like that fight.

Pernell's triple-jab off the back foot was nice vs Azumah Nelson.

Winky Wright vs Shane Mosley 1.

Ike Quartey vs anyone and everyone.

Oscar De la Hoya vs. Shane Mosley II

Pernell Whitaker vs. Oscar De la Hoya

    Pat Cowdell vs. Sal Sanchez

Felix Sturm vs. Oscar de la Hoya

Joey Archer vs. Emile Griffith I

    Victor Echegaray vs. Kuniaki Shibata

    Liston vs George Johnson.

Maybe not Listons best jabbing performance i always just think his jabbing in this fight is amazing considering how far past it he is.

I think someone whose jab I really like everytime I see it is Gene Tunney's - everytime I watch his fights I find my self going"god he had such a beautiful jab!!" one of the best ever IMO Joe Louis was ultra perfect with his at his best too
