    Y'all heard me
The guy in his prime had underrated skills and he gets overlooked for being a white dude, and this is coming from a man who's been accused of being a ''n*gger supremicist'' by the racists on this board. I'm willing to give any fighter his props regardless of skin tone.

Hatton gets underrated because people now see him as the guy that got knocked outby floyd and brutally retired by pac, also with 2 overrated wins over tszyu and castillo who were past prime.
I kind of disagree with it but thats how he is viewed, has **** to do with him being white.
You know who get underrated for being white? Klitschko's, if they were black americans a lot fo people here who now hate would love them and claim greatness every fight.

Is he really underrated? Hatton had a long winning streak, was a good champ and simply showed that he was a level below the two best fighters of his generation. I disagree that his skills were underrated. He achieved his success through toughness and aggression, his skills were good but far from great at the top level.

F*ck that, Hatton is most definitely overrated here on ESB. The guy was a crude brawler at best with zero defense, no jab. Don't mention footspeed, these are physical attributes not technical, the guy couldn't box for ****.:yep

I have the Hatton career set.... when he was a young up and coming fighter, he was a beast.

Fast body punching pressure fighter. relentless.

Frank ****** brought him up slow. milking him for as long as he could. by the time Hatton got american attention he was past his prime. he did it to himself ballooning up between fights.

he was extremely good in hugging and holding.

I was a big fan of hatton when he was a domestic fighter, incredible performances he gave. But when he stepped up to the world title level, he stunk out the joint. Sorry to say. Tszuy was a great fight. But Collazo, Urango, Lazcano and Mallignagi were plain unwatchable and he got a very generous decision against Collazo. Against Hatton and Pacquiao he was blown away.

he is a bum and he always was.retired at 31,at his prime because he was exposed as a bum.his current occupation is drinking vodka and snorting cocaine.

I think by some of his fans he is overrated... but by the general ESB public he is underrated. most of you think of him as a slow brawler with no defense. a bum. This is not the case. I think this was one of PBF best wins. Hatton was up on the cards thru 6 despite fighting at a weight that didnt fancy him... dont get me started about sorry Cortez

allot of good fighters peak into there late 20s he lived a bad life outside the ring, which hurt him badly in his big fights, he could have been remembered as a better fighter had he lived the clean life

I don't believe its because the Klitschko's are white, I believe its because they came along when the talent in the heavy weight division was slack, people want a measureing stick, not their fault. It reminds me when roy jones was in his prime and knocking out everyone, some people were pissed because they couldn't gage his talent, not his fault.

perhaps, but choosing a life of drugs and alcohol when he was an professional athlete makes him a bum.
