P4P ratings is based on accomplishments, not skills. There's no way Ward deserves to be #2.

Bute will win if they fight, he will outbox him from outside, and when Ward trys to rough him up. Which he would. He will eat some serious uppercuts.

You ****ing fool. I've seen atleast 6 Bute fights. And have only really been impressed in his fights with Miranda and Andrade the first one until he got tired and started to get caught. I'm a student of the game and watch boxing religiously. Don't try and downplay my boxing knowledge here I'm sure I'm more knowledgeable than you. Bute is a good fighter but is really untested in my eyes the guy hasn't fought the best and until he proves he will fight and beat the best he will be ranked lower than guys like Ward and Froch and rightfully so. Deal with it.:hi:

I think you're too caught up in the "Fighter A beat fighter B, so..." type thinking.

I think Ward purposely wanted to fight Bika's fight to try to prove a point. It wasn't working so great so he boxed the last 4 rounds or so from the outside and won it comfortably 8-4ish.

If anything, Ward has shown the ability to adapt. He can fight outside (Abraham, when most thought Ward would live on the inside) or inside (Kessler, Green) or a combination of inside/outside (Bika).

I don't have a problem with anyone picking Bute. The guy can fight. I just think Ward is a better fighter and matches up very well with Bute's style.

Um pfp is who is the best pound for pound fighter in the world. That is what Ward is number 2. So what do you have Ward at number 3 or 4? you have to have him infront of Sergio if you are going by your logic or mine

Ward will walk Bute down cutting the ring off and get inside with educated pressure from behind the jab. He will the get inside and give Bute hell and still hold his own from the outside. People overrate the hell outta Bute and underrate the hell outta Ward who they don't like because of his style and his SOG thing. But they fail to give him his due for the genius that he displays in the ring. The guy is a lot like Hopkins in that fact extremely high ring IQ that can adapt to all styles. I stand by my statement that Ward will give Bute a boxing lesson when if they fight. Just like I picked Ward to do to Kessler when they fought.:deal

what does rank has to do with op question?you rank Ward and Froch above Bute,so what,80% of esb does.if you seen Bute and Ward fight and your analyze was "Ward is gonna take Bute to deep waters before drowning him and he will work him inside and outside" i have to question your boxing knowledge.nobody is taking nobody to deep waters,it will be a close fight with chances for UD for both depending of location of the fight and a much higher chance of a ko/tko from Bute.Ward have never faced a good southpaw so he is as untested as Bute in this fight.

I hope and pray Ward is the betting underdog in this fight. It will be the easiest money I made on a fight since Hopkins-Tito and Winky-Tito.:yep

Get out of hear with that. Ward has a similar style to Hopkins. Especially with what you mentioned that he hits and holds. Ward can fight on the inside, long range, and fight going backward. He also has the ability to adjust. He has pretty good footwork. He can throw pretty much every punch in the book effectively. He does leave his chin exposed sometimes. Other than that, Ward is a very well rounded boxer. He has the ability to be number 1 P4P in the future. Anything can happen though.

He's gonna take him in "the deep waters" in the championship rounds and really turn it up. Bute IMO still has suspect stamina. He will tire out from the relentless educated pressure that Ward will put on him it's also very mentally draining as well since he will be matching wits with a high ring IQ boxer like Ward. That's what I mean by taking him into the deep waters and drowning him.

Your criteria for P4P differs from most.

Ward has one big win in Kessler and good wins in Bika and Abraham. Martinez has three big win in Williams x2 and Pavlik along with good wins in Dzinziruk and Barker. There's no question that he ranks ahead of Ward for me. As does Donaire, Marquez, Pac, Floyd and Wlad.

see,now i know you have no clue.if Ward will pressure Bute he will eat those counters like fat americans eat mcdonalds.ring iq..what ring iq?he fought green and bika ffs,you don't need ring iq for that.and AA and Kessler have the same style, what you see is what you get.Ward never faced a fighter as complex as Bute, and same goes for Bute. Will be a good fight but not, under any circumstances, one sided.
